Not sure if this is true for anyone else but for me this is directly in the middle of college Final exams
Essentials.TF Monthlies have arrived for the month of May! The rules are the same as the Monthly before, but there are a few changes in this month’s whitelist. Check the post below for further details!
NA Monthly Sponsored by Twitch:
Play dates: 12th-13th May
Prizepool: $1000
1st Place: $600
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $60
4th Place: $60
8 more teams and we hit minimum requirements to play the tournament. I know right now the system to sign up is a pain, but if you help us out by signing up and playing this month from next month we should have a new system that lets you maintain a team, sign up with a single click each month and we will be adding features in the lead up to iSeries.
We're also looking for staff, so if you're looking to help out with NA monthlies join us on discord and let us know

Man, it's honestly crazy how hard it can be to get people to sign up for this. I don't know whether it's taking place on a bad day, or if the format itself takes too long, or if no one wants to have to play Froyo, or what, but it's crazy hard to get people to play these. I've fielded teams for every one of the monthlies so far, and I have to replace half the team every time. This month I asked literally 30 people if they could play and was only able to get 1. Real sad stuff.
MenachemI don't know whether it's taking place on a bad day

Given the proportion of players that are under 22 in the community it shouldn't be shocking to have low turnout for an event that takes up a good chunk of time during the busiest part of the school year.
I don't know what the rules/requirements for renewals for these cups are, but delaying/canceling until most people are out of classes might be a good option. Personally, I'm looking forwards to playing in the June cup but I can't indulge in TF2 during the school year.
