Froyotech and Ascent: the two titans of the North American TF2 scene once again will clash in the ESEA Invite Regular Season to decide who will gain the first seed. For seasons upon seasons, froyotech have continued to remain dominant, but Ascent have managed to squeeze a game every few matches out of froyotech. This season however, things will be much different, with froyotech retaining their all-star roster and Ascent housing a much different roster from seasons prior. The new Ascent roster, now featuring a mix of Ascent and former SVIFT NA players, will face their first challenge of the season that will ultimately decide whether this team stands a chance at hoisting the digital ESEA trophy once again. As is usual, this matchup will be one of the most important matches of the season, so make sure to tune in with Marxist and eXtine with Nicell on production because this will be a match you won't want to miss.
