So I used to use a crosshair swticher so I could have my rocket launcher not show, my shotgun show, and have different crosshairs. But now because of some update valve made, i get kicked if I switch weapons to fast.
Does anyone have an alternative way to do this so I won't get kicked?

use vtf crosshairs so you can have weapon specific crosshairs

and neither will get me kicked from servers for issuing to many commands?

_Tannerand neither will get me kicked from servers for issuing to many commands?
yes, neither send any commands.
make sure you completely remove any weapon switching scripts and it should be fine.

i ended up removing my abomination of an extension of broesel's crosshair switcher and just having simple stuff like
bind 1 "slot1; r_drawviewmodel 0"
in each class config, and haven't been kicked since. if you're like me and like the ability to toggle viewmodels that might work better for you than the competitive viewmodels tool

This switcher works without causing kicks, even with intentional mousewheel spam. Has all the bells and whistles. Just plug in your desired viewmodel/crosshair settings to the set_slot aliases.

If i remember correctly cfg.tf has a nice little installer for vtf weapon specific crosshairs
