iirc there was a mod to hide the particles but it didn't work outside of sv_pure so you're probably out of luck until scream fortress is over

the particles themselves are enforced by sv_pure or something so it's not possible to disable them the way my mod achieves it (which is just replacing the particles with blank ones). Haven't really looked into other ways but since they are tied to an event it may be possible to disable it on the server side like you can with the birthday stuff.

You could also try preloading the mod but I doubt it will work.
