Despite everything that's been said, no one can deny that your talk was essential for bringing back the newbie mixes the next day and getting so many people to take initiative in the TF2 community. The newbie mix Steam group has over 2000 members now, up from 1600 before, and the mixes have never been more popular. djc probably knows the most about the community than anyone else in this community, and whether or not whoever is reading this post considers him nice or likes him, djc deserves a lot of thanks for everything that he does in amazing tf2 articles and generally being as truthful as possible about the community at all times.
