So my mother, who is a tiny blond Russian woman with a heavy British accent (don't ask why), sits down my whole family in front of the Christmas tree and announces (and I quote) "This year, we decided the theme was 'who will get the most retarded present'!" I just kinda sit there going huh, okay, this is new.

She gifted us a pair of non-matching pink, yellow and green pillows with our names on it, and matching cat-shaped cups that have four very long legs. My little sister gave me a giant bear pillow. My mom's boyfriend gave me a carrot that he wrapped in layers of duct tape and paper towels. I think the best gift was the absolutely amazing dinner beforehand though, which she apparently worked on for 15 hours.

I'm pretty happy with the NON-THEMED presents I gave them. (Model train for my mom, Stuffed dog for the boyfriend because he collects them, and a pack of creative writing/plotting supplies for my sister)

Also TONY is getting me car stuff which I am genuinely excited about. :D
