DrewJust saw this now. Might have been the reason for the problems.

That's pretty implausible. It's pretty apparent from the match that Playground was being specifically targeted.
About the match:
A lot of people are saying Crunchy should have let Playground win, or play 5v5, and I tend to agree. However, you have to admit that Crunchy were put in almost as shitty a position as Playground. It's one thing to say, right here, right now, that if you were in Crunchy's shoes you would have done things differently. It's another thing to actually do that, in the playoffs match, if you were in that position. I mean, even being 4-0 down, I'm sure Crunchy were actively trying to turn the game around, so it would be unfair to them to say they had no chance of winning. Ideally, it would be nice to have a rematch of the two teams, but it seems like that is unlikely to happen.

potdroughti dont see the problem tbqh since i have no doubt in my mind that playground tactics is gonna make it to the finals anyways and probably win
They'll get dos'd again
needless to say, we're kind of counting on getting dos'd again. our team has already had high latency problems throughout the season (sonnnn lives in hawaii ffs) so i guess this is just another thing to deal with.
x3i4nSorry for Playground tactics, technical problems happens.
these weren't technical problems. it was malicious attack.

Consider how many people would have shit talked Crunchy Bunch if they had lost 5v6 regardless
They weren't in the best position either

frknI can see playing it out with 6 but running the heavy was pure douchebaggery.
eh, not really. would you want to lose 5v6?
if it had been 6v6 and PT had run a HWG, shortly countered by CB running a HWG would it have been a big problem? nope.avi

I don't really get what you are saying...
Anwyays, after watching the STV, CB didn't run full time heavy after PT lost players like I had been told, so disregard anything I say

The only reason why CB ran Heavy outside of last was because they were on their own last, and were faced against a Heavy and a Uber disadvantage. When they won the post-Uber battle, they had to push ASAP since this was a window of opportunity to take back second without much fear of backcap. At that point, you're pretty much forced to commit to playing an offclass until you die and respawn, which was the case of CB in that one round.
While what happened to PT is one of the most upsetting and unfortunate turnarounds ever seen in TF2, stop persecuting Crunchy for something they did for ONE round that happens on a semi-regular occasion across all 6s leagues and divisions worldwide.

It should be noted that the pause was for 15ish minutes to let rikachu get back in, and that crunchy ran heavy for only one round. Based on the pause timings I think crunchy won the fifth mid before rikachu dc'd as well so it wasn't exactly over (granted I only looked at the cast, can't load the stv).
Very unfortunate all around though, hope to see them play again in the finals (without any ddosing, it's getting ridiculous).
