Hey does anyone know how to do this type of thing where u superimpose(idk if that's the word) album art into the background

you just stretch the album art so it fills the background fully
place the normally sized album art in the middle, drop shadow, etc

for someone who doesn't know how to do that how should i do that, I just keep getting grainy squares and im sad

what do u mean with grainy squares? are your images high res enough?

If you're images aren't HQ or close to HQ they'll get aliased to all hell on stretching

if you google reverse search the album cover you want and click "all sizes" you can find the highest resolution easily

as the others say, low-res images aren't going to look as good. that's why i stayed away from the other cover, it looks like it'll blow up like shit; it's already really blurry and full of artifacting

since imgur was squashing them. hope they're okay. infester cover was kinda hard to contrast so i messed with it a bit.

download vtfedit and convert that image to a .vtf file, check your hud folder and go to materials>console, after this put the new .vtf file you made in there and replace those other files in there with that one and rename it to theirs
