all memes aside I've literally heard 0 things about how logjam went other than one guy in ozf pointing out a hiding spot that I need to fix

Not something to fix, but like almost every map in the ETF2L pool barring product and snakewater (not to say those don't have problems) the problem with maps in the pool is the lack of incentive and ability to push when at a disadvantage. To put it in ideals, what a map needs is to be like granary, but with this extra control point being between second and last over being between second and mid.
The reason for this is because having that extra safety barrier between the last point and the second point allows teams to be more risky in their strats to capture last and second depending on their position, as they don't lost as much if it goes to shit. No map has this. Granary is the closest, but it has its extra "point" in the wrong spot. Pushing mid to yard and yard to mid is actually fucking easy, but people are pussies and dont weigh risk vs reward. (well, yard to mid is pretty hard, but mid to yard is free).
As much as I enjoy logjam (not much, but its definitely not any worse than any other map I've played barring cardinal since that map is actually broken as all hell), it doesn't solve this problem I see in the current ETF2L mappool.
I'd love to see a map with this extra control point between last and second. Imo snakewater is the closest since lobby is kinda like an extra control point, but its still too hard for attackers to compete for it since last is WAY too beneficial to hold for defenders.
Best of luck making logjam optimal hyce, but I don't see it being superior to any of the maps currently in the pool. This is a good and bad thing. Good in that your efforts can easily match those which are currently revered. Bad in that your efforts cannot easily surpass those which are currently revered. God I love the word revered. Also Logjam is aite, no worse than badlands with slow captime imo.

we were worried about Logjam turning out to be "a steaming pile of balls" (Kaidus quote) I'll take something that can fit in with the current pool as it sits...
fair fair. I understand the point of view as a map maker. As a player, I'd love something that was fresh with the ideas I have in mind, but not gonna be a player for much more. I hope you enjoyed the map making process since not so much more needs to be done with logjam to make it permanently league ready imo.
