if invite actually needs saving i think my team is willing to go 0-16 if someone helps us with fees
although i definitely do not think we are the best IM team so it should probably be someone else

We have no interest playing in Invite. None of us have played competitively in a while (some of us haven't played in years), we don't plan on scrimming at all, and we're kinda just chilling out to have a last hurrah for ESEA. Give it to a team who has been working at making Invite.

personally i think it would be pretty comical if no one moved up to invite so speedys team has to play against invite teams anyways once the division dies

speedyinvite dying because we wont play just wont happen its always a threat that it will die but it will always get enough teams and also why would you think its comical when we would still win in the end by getting to play against a lot less tryhard teams and win most matches? the whole point of this team is to just play tf2 without putting our souls into it every night even if IM and invite get combined it wouldnt change that, why not just have a team looking to improve play invite as it would help them improve way more than playing IM also kev boar and I already saved invite once lets see u do it bud

probably not my best comment in retrospect and i apologize for not considering that you guys probably didn't have the motivation to compete against invite teams. but anyways, if it was up to us, we would be playing in invite. unfortunately, it didn't work out that way as we quickly realized after winning im that we couldn't find suitable replacements to comfortably play against other low invite teams. after coming off of a 0-16 and 0-32 invite record myself and the other evil members wanted to ensure we wouldn't get rolled all season and actually be able to compete. our intention was never to sandbag im again and thus we are on off-classes instead. i don't think your motivations to play in im are wrong by any means but i do believe that other teams should have a good chance to win as well, rather than have play against the daunting mid invite roster your team consists of. but again i am biased as i'm just as at fault as i claimed you guys were. my bad :)

Im not one to defend this kinda of stuff, but tbh FAINT was one of the only teams that actually stuck to their offclassing throughout the entire IM season when they played down a division and they still stuck to that even when they were losing in the finals against (RAD), every other "friend" team that does this and says they want to "chill out and have some fun" literally like 4 maybe 5 weeks before they all main class and try to win. Stock's team did literally this exact same situation last season and ended up winning.
Some other recent examples was Meat Market season 29 (won IM), MAL Season 29 (2nd), who both changed their rosters dramatically from beginning to end of season.
Yes this is the last season of ESEA and yes you're obviously free to play with whatever roster you want in whatever div you want. That being said when there is a division on the line, it shows your lack of competitive integrity to not want to compete for that spot, which obviously is your choice and not against the rules but it is a spot that your quality level of players belong in. I've been in the situation plenty more times than most people where my roster has had to endure invite to keep the division alive and ya, it does suck, and passing it off as an opportunity to a low or mid IM team isn't a good thing ESPECIALLY when you know you're the roster that should be there instead of a team you are far better than.
Just my 2 cents, I'm not explicitly saying what you should and should not do as it is your choice in the end, but there will still be an invite division after ESEA and this situation may or may not ever change.
