To a certain extent. The scoreboard is the only thing that will be broken (some parts will be off-screen). I have a ScoreBoard_smaller.res which you can replace ScoreBoard.res with, and this should fix the 6v6 scoreboard. However, I haven't gotten around to fixing the 12v12 yet (as this would require reorganising a bunch of things.) If you want to use the rest of the HUD, you can delete ScoreBoard.res entirely and use the default TF2 scoreboard.

It's in the same directory as ScoreBoard.res, delete that one and rename ScoreBoard_smaller.res to ScoreBoard.res.

Okay, I added the dueling panel stuff to the scoreboard. As I haven't tested it out, it could be entirely messed up, or it might just look bad. No idea. :)

Please report back with a screenshot after using it. I want to see what it looks like.

[edit] Also, I just added an alternative scoreboard for those of you with 4:3 aspect ratios. I took the easy option and shortened the player name field by a good deal, allowing everything to fit. I could have missed some elements, so let me know if anything is misplaced.

Someone else had that bug on a Mac; not sure what could be causing it. You can try editing HudPlayerHealth and HudAmmoWeapons, making the "tall" values of the relevant containers larger.

Is that the only problem?

It's just a text file, so any text editor will do.

I understood what you were trying to say as far as the English is concerned, I just cannot make any sense of it.

If you have "the normal tf2 with no hud installed", then how can you "only get the bottom third of the hp and amomo"? Those two statements contradict one another.

I really like this hud. Nice work on it.

I do have a suggestion however. The tournament spectator hud. http://i.imgur.com/hGVWW.jpg The left side where it shows the players is not easy to decipher during play. The biggest thing is its hard to see who is alive or dead. You have to look at the health numbers then look over to the name and since the icon is all team Red its not fun. If you could maybe give them a background team color Red/Blu and make it go black when dead I think it would be a big improvement. Thanks again, awesome hud.

If I could have done so, I would have. Unfortunately, I do not think it is possible unless I use the default panel BGs, which I do not like.

Speaking of that, there seems to be another bug with the spectator HUD where it will show HP on the side of a player's name who is dead when typically there's no HP value plenty of other times. It's not a really big deal, but it often gets confusing when trying to determine numbers.

It seems to be a bug in TF2. Generally, for your own player, instead of showing no value, it shows either %HEA... or a random number. I believe this is a problem with all custom HUDs that have health values in the spectator HUD.

I have been testing a way to work around this and I'll be committing the change soon, after some more work. It involves using a custom font with solid blocks instead of numbers, and overlapping a second respawn time display over the health info, so as long as a respawn time is shown, the health value will be covered by blocks. The only time this doesn't work is the short period of time before respawning, after the countdown has ended.

Okay, I added it, but it's disabled by default.

Basically, here is what you need to do after each update:
1) Go to hudlayout.res and change enable/visible of OmpCrosshairPlus to 1.
2) Go to HudAnimations_tf.txt and uncomment the two lines in DamagedPlayer.

If you change the crosshair colour from the default magenta to something else, green in your case, you also need to change it in the second Animate line, as that is what changes your crosshair colour back from red.

I don't believe so, sorry. TF2 hides that panel when dueling, not something I can control from the HUD files.

I made some tiny changes in positioning, so another screenshot would be appreciated next time you duel. Thanks! :)

Read post #146. I added support for this to the HUD, it tells you how to enable it. You don't need to follow this guide anymore.
