CHILLWAGON, an amalgamation of experience and nationalities, are one of the two higher seeded teams playing in the upcoming season’s Premiership Qualifiers. Their game against Generation karnax will be played on the 28th of May.
CHILLWAGON as a newly formed team is looking to compete with the more solidified teams of the Premiership Qualifiers, and with luck, possibly Premiership. Their lack of experience together will play a key role in their games during S33. Will their recent arrival grant them a surprise attack against the comfortable Premiership teams, or will teamwork and cohesion not reach the high standards of the top level of TF2?
joe and hemp are the newcomers to Premiership, with the latter having some experience in Premiership Qualifiers. hemp was a long-time member of the Premiership team Ora Elektro, being rostered for them up until 5 months ago, but never had the opportunity to experience Premiership with them. hemp’s departure from Ora Elektro was not all negative, after leaving he achieved a respectable playoff spot with mgedojo in Division 1 last season. joe has also been floating around in the Division 1/2 area for the last few seasons, so looking forward to the upcoming Premiership Qualifiers will be both players looking to prove themselves.
The remaining Brits of the team, Warped and torrit, are both ex-Premiership players: torrit returning to Premiership from a rather disappointing season with MONGI MODE, after they dropped from the competition mid-season. Warped on the other hand hasn’t had his Premiership mettle tested since S26, when he played with 3/6, during which 3/6 managed to secure a single victory on Product throughout the entire season. Rather than joe and hemp who are looking to make a name for themselves, the two Brits will be looking to redeem theirs.
Finally, the wild-cards: mu and Wonszu are both players to look out for during the Premiership Qualifiers. Wonszu is a veteran of both TF2 and Premiership, making his debut in ETF2L almost 7 years ago and his Premiership-debut over 4 years ago with Wonderland. mu on the other-hand is an ESEA Invite Scout, playing the current ESEA season with cafe monster RB, who made her Invite debut over 3 years ago with the renowned team The Bugs. Both of these tested-and-proven players will be bringing a special spark to CHILLWAGON, that may be able to ignite their engine to speed into Premiership.
Torrit gave us some profound and deeply helpful insight to the inner-mechanics of the wagon:
ok so we're well chuffed for this season yea we've got joe on demo mans smokes bare trees haha you hear me fam, wonszus on the pocket class and hes just a bloody monster you feel me bredrin and herb and ting, warped on roamer whos battyman rice and pea red dot sight wit the acog scope, hempus and mu on scout likkle mandem on skrrrrrrr ting int it mate. im also playing.
As the Premiership Qualifiers approach us, CHILLWAGON’s performances will decide whether they’re a Mercedes or a Williams. CHILLWAGON’s roster moving forwards is:
- Scout: mu
- Scout: hemp
- Roamer: Warped
- Pocket: Wonszu
- Demoman: joe
- Medic: Torrit
