Mega bummed about this, I know medals are a huge incentive for TotH (judging by how many messages we get about them alone). But I can't say I'm not surprised. Hopefully there can be some wiggle room for the more established charities and leagues at least.

I'm certainly not an organizer but as soon as I learned about this last night, I made sure to post the details in the TOTH slack - literally before uberchain even knew. Hopefully we can get out in front of this and I'm sure we'll try whatever we can. It's hard to argue with such a large charity event, but I'm sure there will be some official verdict soon enough. We also have a great and talented team, so if there needs to be a workaround or alternative, I'm sure we can brainstorm something. TF2, though in decline, has certainly always been a key piece of the event.

Theres literally a potato medal for playing on a specific mvm server for April fools. I think medals have gone a little too far and need to be cut back.

Ninlopso does this mean, that leagues such as etf2l and ugc and stuff will still distribute medals for their upcoming seasons, since the models are all the same the only difference is the name
old medals can still be used, they just wont add more
