After all my time on tftv, this remains my favourite thread, as egotistical as that may be. I still remember exactly what happened this one night so clearly. I'm curious as to whether any of the people who were there do so aswell :)
I'm bumping this thread to let you guys know that I've decided to start recording some improvisation sessions on the guitar. The style of playing in this one is almost exactly the same as that of when I forgot to mute my microphone in discord. Expect a lot of ambient, relaxing playing, droning and repetition. In my playing I focus a lot more on building a feeling/an aura as opposed to just playing notes/chords which sound nice. Slint - Spiderland is a HUGE inspiration for my style of playing, so if you love that album then I think you'll like what I have to offer here.
I'm not gonna bump this thread for every time I upload an improvisation session. You're welcome to subscribe to my channel if you like the music :) After 12 years of playing the guitar I've finally decided to just bite the bullet and record myself playing, despite the fact that I'm using a shitty phone microphone/camera to do so. I've listened back to the recording and it gets the job done, but I would love to step into a professional recording studio one day and put on tape the exact same sound I hear when I'm playing.
Thank you guys for everything <3 Enjoy the music
