Hey everyone,
Just wondering what is the current heal order/meta for rollouts. When I last played it was prior to medics matching scout speed when they heal.
So previously you'd buff the demo and buff the roamer, then buff scouts, and then crit heal the pocket who eq'd to mid. But now that medics move at scout speed I assume this has changed. (i'm hoping i even remember that right, overwatch melted my brain.)
Also, are there any other changes that have happened in the meta? I'm guessing the fact that medic can move at scout speed would make it much easier for the medic to play with pocket heavy scouts, which probably means theres a double roamer thing happening.. This is all just a guess on my part.
Any advice, or info you can share to help me get back on my feet a bit quicker would be great!
Also looking for places to pug that aren't tf2center.

rollout is the same just PLEASE give your soldiers 300 before they get to mid
270 =/= 300

mostly the same as before. With scout speed buff you can catch up to your roamer again during rollout and buff them a bit more than before maybe
Sunshine update makes it slightly faster to rollout left instead of right. Don't remember when that happened but afaik it was after scout buff
Yea pocket scout is strong. If you don't have a scout in your uber you're probably not going to have a very good one because their med can press s a lot easier as well with the scout speed
If you're a med main playing on pug.champ.gg will be rather easy. Ask friends for inhouse pugs. I'm a euro so idk any of the active ones

dont buff your combo scout before mid so that hes forced to stay around you longer

thanks for the advice guys. i'm a scout main. but i really wanted to know about the rollout stuff because i don't wanna inconvenience any medic players. They are precious and need to be protected.

literally as a scout your rollout is just holding w until you get to mid. nothing you do will have an appreciable difference on your medic's life, beyond crouching in spawn

The only big difference that you need to note as a scout main is that on longer rollouts you're expected to help escort your med to mid while pocket still has escape plan out and roamer is out of reach; medics getting later to mid than other medics b/c of scouts not slowing down can have a real impact on how the mid shapes up
also if ur looking for places to pug outside of centers, heres some suggestions based off of the ones I've seen around
final destination pugs (highly recommend)
solid pugs (kinda inactive probably gonna get going again in offseason like usual)
crouton pugs (a little cringe b/c of required to sign up/post skill level but still been fun)
there are some other ones that are invite only if you know people, and probably more I don't play regularly or don't know about that are active so people can feel free to link more
