d0m3ris there any reason you don't want to build a pc its always better than buying a pre-built they arent that hard to put together
CvalSo I asked a question similar to this a while ago since I needed help with buying a new gaming PC. I've been advised to just build my own so I could save money with better parts but my parents won't let me (I've been asking them for weeks since I heard it was super easy, but they refuse so whatever :/)
Is it really that hard to read the first paragraph of the OP?
wthe australium weapons reminds me of cod's golden guns
As much (justified tbh) hate COD gets, having a gold WA2000 was the best of part of that game

seems its getting bigger and bigger. Needs upvote to get into frontpage
non-default subs don't get on the frontpage. try xposting to /r/gaming if it hasn't been done already.
DaggerI think our first step should be contacting UGC/CEVO/ETF2L. Say, "Hey, are you guys willing to implement a paid league with an anti cheat client, change your rules based to accompany us, possibly a LAN, and can you withstand 400 more players joining your league for next season?" Then after each league has spoken we have a poll and choose.
Do people really want a client? IMO an anti-cheat team of 4-10ish unbiased moderately skilled players who can be asked to investigate a suspicious individual's POV and issue/not issue bans accordingly is a better idea.
In regards to a paid league, maybe a flat fee of like 20-40 dollars for every player of every div for servers, web hosting, and prize pot?
In terms of a LAN, I don't think they're entirely necessary, but if the league were to have one, is renting a venue, providing power and internet access to said venue, and hosting game servers really that hard? Players could use their own hardware if possible or computers could be rented, or even built by a community member and then sold/raffled off after.
I don't really have much experience with leagues since i just normally pug and ring for friends because I'm busy with school and stuff, but I like the idea of a div 6-1 + prem system rather than an Open < IM < Main < Invite system since you have such broad gaps in open.
+1 for mpd + ncmpcpp although foobar2000 does run very nicely in wine. I use an old ipod shuffle to play music since I have a dumbphone, still looking for a good android to buy.
HereThereBeTygersWould we have to start calling our scrims "Practice clan wars"? What about airshots? Do we have to start calling those "middies"?
I thought "middies" was an aus/NZ thing.
Also i had no idea what PCW stood for lol
PrototypesI think a north american division in etf2l would be a great idea. Making a new league will most likely fail though. Look at igl, they had a great site and what seemed like great staff. The league is dead before the first season ended.
I think the issue with this is that we as the community had no representation. For example, if I decided to start a league, rented a couple dedis, ran top notch servers and an intuitive website, while being active in the community and promised LAN and cheaper league fees, no one would play still because "who the fuck is this platypus guy"
But, if someone with standing in the community decides to do the above, we'll see the higher-up players signing up just because they recognize the name(s) running it, and probably because they know the person running it, because even with all the drama and the constant criticisms of 6v6 not being a "viable esport", everyone plays, because we enjoy the game and the community is much more tightly-knit as a result.
bought at sub-100, sold for 700 :^)
harbleuMangachuMonet kind of fucked themselves over by ffwing 6cuties. If we both end up with the same record (10-6 - losing to mix^, lit, and iT) anime/my team would be fourth since we have more round winsffw's count as 5-0's. that's all factor'd in at the end even though it displays as 2-0.
They also lost to below average so I think three teams have to upset to get monet to lan
Or I know literally nothing someone correct me if I'm wrong
This is probably lazy webdev, leftover from another game.
Zowie EC1 Evo is my favourite mouse, reminds me of my Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 but the Zowie has better side buttons and scroll wheel.
