oPlaiDShwanPowerofTowerAll this talk of LoL and DOTA, anyone here play Smite?
I would recommend against playing hi-rez games.
Smite is the most fun of the MOBA games for me since you actually have responsive character control, you hit a button and the character goes. It feels way better than the awful sitting around waiting to turn in DotA and LoL while struggling to move the camera to the right spot etc.
The problem is Hi-Rez is awful at balancing their games and designing game systems. They've managed to make fun base gameplay in all of their titles really, but they then mess it up with everything they put on top of that. It's pretty sad.
And I've got TPA Ez, but he's my most played champion so you aren't getting him e
this is usually what people that are competitive cite as their reason to not play dota. it's a big adjustment but it has a lot of nifty side effects that add depth. fog juking being the obvious one, but the biggest is probably that teamfights can often get forced due to the collective turnspeed. consider each "turn around" to retreat as .5s of dead time, times 5 is 2.5s of uselessness ur team commited to a fight. this can cost entire fights which makes people commit to aggressors initiation. in contrast to the endless poking and defensive flash shit you can see in league
