Hallowpeople who don't play comp or play it at a really low level seem to want it unbanned. yet seemingly a rather big majority of the people who play it at a higher level (considering the low level people posting high open is "higher level" here) want it banned.
low level people also have a tendency of standing around letting 70 percent uber advantage slip out of their hands. low level people want to unban the gunslinger so that engi is viable. never listen to low level people.
might seem rude but tbh i'm really tired of this discussion; you could argue that the decision to ban it was rushed but it's a retarded weapon (in its current state).

MarxistBasically a Major is what you'll get your degree in. So you'll have a bachelors of Science of a Bachelors of Arts in whatever subject you're majoring in. Minoring is an associates (2) year degree in that particular subject. Some types of major also only offer a Baccalaureate.
It's the short hand way of saying what your degree focuses on.
a minor is just taking a certain set of related elective courses on the subject while going for a 4 year degree

milehighmilitiai agree with avoiding IT. any of those other degrees are much better imo. Im not sure about CE as far as how much math is required but i know that where i go the CS majors only need calc 1 and 2 which is essentially nothing. i would say CS is a good choice if you dont like or arent good at math. If you do, then any engineering discipline is open to you, pick one that fits your fancy.
the cs major in general has some pretty bad consistency issues. ucr requires all the standard lower division stuff calc3, linear, essentially difeq and as far as I know classes like vision or ai build on concepts from there
