3 years ago people decided to make a nonphysical currency that could be transferred around online without regulation. "value" would be made through processing power(electricity + computer cycles devoted towards mining). efficiency of mining decreases exponentially overtime until x amount of coins are in the market(idk the number)
back then a bitcoin was worth less than a dollar and you could mine several a day on weak computers quite easily. these days your average streamer computer could probably get .005 alone in a day which doesn't beat electricity costs. anyways it was in the news a lot over the past couple weeks and bubbled from around $40 two weeks ago to a high of around $280 last night. Now it's crashing and a bunch of plebeians are losing a lot of money
hpqoeuSalamancer#10 What kind of utter moron bought bitcoins in this obviously speculative bubble? Holy shit.
edit: I mean, no offense if anyone bought any bitcoin recently or anything. Except, you know, you might be a moron. But whatever makes you happy.
it's a troll post http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1c2vmh/im_going_to_kill_myself/

looks stable 2 me
on the offchance any of you messed around with bitcoins a few years ago and forgot about it, they've inflated to around $250 a piece. it's impossible to tell how long its price will rise, but if you weren't aware and you have some it is probably a good idea to sell them off
make sure to feature x6
elliott_2chow is this even being discussedBecause every mid and second that is played has 2/3 entrances, and 2 demos would mean you'd always be a man pushing in and out. If there were 6-7 entrances for each point, it'd be different.
theyre limited to 1 for a reason
i think limiting a class for the sake of not letting it break the game is good grounds to call it overpowered
how is this even being discussed
theyre limited to 1 for a reason
kirbylynaAlso, don't forget the skilled movement. You can bunnyhop and do all kinds of crazy shit, even more than in cs:s
You definitely can't bhop in CoD4. The most you can do with movement that's out of the ordinary is hitting a bounce. It's similar to bhopping only in the sense that it exploits a bug in the engine. To bounce, you need either 125, 250 or 333 FPS. With 125 FPS, you can only hit the short distance bounces. 250 for short (depending on which ones, some of them you end up going too far at the area you need to jump from) and medium. 333 FPS for the ridiculous bounces. 333 FPS is/was actually banned from being used in CoD4's competitive scene because the major advantage you get in jump distance. That includes jumping in general and bounces.
It's kind of crazy that they would ban using a certain amount of FPS but it makes sense I guess.
it's a quake3 engine bug that got fixed with mods. long ago 333fps was banned in quake3 too
ive never heard of anyone with an amd processor successfully stream tf2
