brownymasterWow a day by day recap? The production is amazing.

I continually get sportscenter-esque vibes from it. I love it.

#39 Powerjack update -> pyro viable in 6v6? in TF2 General Discussion
TwilitlordRagePlease just no. The game has already changed enough because of the quick fix and I don't want to have to worry about teams having a full time pyro.Could we stop with this shit? A few months ago we were complaining about a stale meta and as soon as Valve actually does something you're all like "No no no changes please I can't deal with change". Stop it, you hypocrites.

But anyways - I've done it once in an inhouse, because I couldn't aim rockets at all (roamer). If you can be sneaky and get behind them, it can work really well - I got the med and assisted a scout 5k, but I know that if they'd been paying attention or if I'd done it again, I would have gotten shut down immediately. It can be effective, but only if you get really lucky, and his lack of mobility and range make him much weaker and less general-use than a scout or soldier.

I don't think anyone that has seriously played the game for any real amount of time was complaining about a stale meta. Robin Walker talked out of his ass and UGC set itself on fire because for some reason they put absolute faith in a guy that has probably watched less competitive tf2 in his life than many of them do in a night.

yukiBoring standard drafts by LGD relying only on good execution. And when the good execution fails, they simply crumble. Hopefully they actually learn from this and diversify their strategies, as they are a good team.

They need to improve on Sylar being the lynchpin of that line-up and need to stop throwing the game because the other 4 players get antsy. They were undefeated last year because they were able to patiently wait out until Sylar could bust team-fights by himself while denying the other team the map, and this year they get even a remotely decent start and they implode by trading 3 for 1s in the enemy jungle for no reason.

#15 How do I get into dota/other games. in Other Games

You can actually map your progress through the dota brackets by the different languages you encounter. You'll know you've made it when the chat looks like a mandarin newspaper and not a drunken russian soliloquy.

FFGproblem with this is that they let a lot of strong picks go through if they go out of their way to ban bulldog heroes

and the rest of the alliance players actually have a pretty large hero pool to pick from

straight up banning bulldog in first phase (with the occasionnal akke chen) doesn't seem to work very well

If they take a first pick chen/bat/carry after you ban profit/ld you still have more elbow room than just trading first picks and giving away a first pick gyro/wisp/prophet. Honestly if you force them to first pick their off-lane or take up that akke chen early then you should be able to get at least two top picks and after that you really just need to make sure that you don't let s4 take over the map and you put pressure out before they do.

mok mike we get your headset is broken and that you think this is trolling but lets get back on topic here

how do you break through alliance's 2 good supports/mid/best offlaner playing right now (it hurts me to say that)

i dont know anybody besides navi who can win the lanes hard enough to really get up in lodas face and get him out of his comfort zone

hmmmmm

also dignitas throwing hard jesus

you ban prophet/druid and force them to pick their off-lane early lest they let bulldog get called out again. Other than that, you need a strong draft that forces them to give up a choice pick (wisp/alch/gyro) in exchange for having a stable composition.

Alternatively, you bust out the pocket push strats and force loda to get involved early. A strongly drafted push comp that doesn't give away wisp/prophet/chen can be hell for anyone that isn't prepared to make serious sacrifices in early game in terms of farm.
