TF2 hasn't reached its peak. If 1 out of 100 people who pub start getting into comp, we'll always have new people who can rise as high as the previous stars.

I'm sad that we didn't make it to the Grand Finals, but we came 4th, which I'm happy about. And regardless of whether iM won, we got to see some absolutely fantastic TF2, so everyone wins.
Epsi are fucking amazing, but (probably biased) I wouldn't count iM out yet.
All I know is that the grand finals are going to be fucking amazing.
Wow, so many people are upset...
iM are looking strong at the moment. So are a bunch of other teams, including Froyo and mix^ (although less so mix^, if only because I haven't seen mix^ putting in as much effort in their scrims).
Y'know why this article was written? Because there was a 'Top 10 Reasons the US will win i46', a 'Top 10 Reasons the Euros will win i49', and now there's a 'Top 10 Reasons the Aussies will win i52'. It's just their turn.
So, yes. This article is mostly a prime bit of shit-talking and joking, and I don't know why the American readers are so offended.
I think iM will put in a hell of a good showing; I want to see termo on lan, and all that jazz. Do I think it's a clear-cut matter of iM going to dominate? No.
This article is not meant to be taken seriously -as you can tell by the abundant use of Strine- and I have no idea why people are actually treating it like it is serious, what the fuck.
Apparently Thomas Ligotti is really good at psychological and cosmic horror. But his stuff tends to be difficult to get a hold of.
Ligotti's work was a big inspiration for True Detective, so if you like True Detective, give that a go.
Personally, I really love Oldboy. Well, the Korean version, that is.
My Bloody Valentine is not metal, but freaking amazing.
They're really worth getting into, especially if you do like heavy metal.
They sort of take heavy metal elements, like distortion etc, and they make it work well for pop sensibilities.
The heaviest band I know of isn't even a metal band. They were more sort of an extreme noise-rock kind of thing.
Also, Godflesh. I fucking love Godflesh.
So, if this is true, it's definitely going to fracture the Quake Live community...some people are definitely going to remain insular, go back to CPMA or whatever, if the scene isn't dead.
But hey, maybe if it is true it'll drive people towards actually sticking with Reflex or Toxikk when they come out? Considering Reflex's appeal is almost literally "GUYS WE'RE CPMA WITH BETTER GRAPHICS"...
d4m0AoshimaPosting here again, since I've been experimenting with my sens a little. How did you find rocketjumping at that low sens? I just got a qck+ mousemat so I could deccrease my sens, halved it to 22 inch/360 and it's great for every class except soldier, as which I keep hitting the edge of the mousemat while trying to rj :(
At the moment I'm running 9.2 inches per 360. 4 sens, 450 dpi, raw input on all my games.
For a while I was running 18 inches per 360, which gave me very stable hitscan aim and decent flicks, but I wasn't able to turn fast enough to avoid getting shot in the butt by scouts.
My main class in TF2 is soldier, typically roamer, but I also play a lot of Quake Live, so I can play most classes reasonably.
Should probably just pick somewhere in the middle but I really love being able to actually aim, for example, the xbow
I didn't have any real issues rocket jumping. Like, I couldn't do surf map style strafes, but I could strafe well enough for any given rollout and most bombs.
I'm pretty sure Raiin runs a 22 inch/360, or has in the past.
It's possible to surf the ramp from a crouch det, isn't it?

Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Metal Gear Solid 3.
In fact, just play all of Metal Gear.
I'm pretty sure you can't. You'll have to take your current sens and change it based on the available DPI settings.
iridescentFUZZMan, I just checked on Reflex again, and the most recent video blew my mind away.
Can't wait.
Got a link to that video? Youtube is being rather nondescript.
