At what point do you say enough is enough then? ESEA literally damaged people's computers by including malware with their client. Maybe CEVO is not at the same standard as ESEA is right in terms of what they can provide for TF2, but at least they're showing that they're willing to listen to the community and work on getting it right.
And yes at the end of the day, there will be people like lpkane everywhere, but that doesn't mean that indulging him is necessarily the right idea.

yaugDepending on how good of a friend this is, have him give you money for a replacement, then just RMA it. You just made money off some retard spilling shit on your computer and you have a brand new card.
aka the I'm a shitty person tactic
hookyI like the 2 map a week thing, but I also like having 2 matches a week. Would it be possible to look into this format?
Once the week schedules are out there's nothing to stop you from scheduling two matches a week. ETF2L just tells you who you have to play against.
I'm biased, but I think a NA ETF2L division would be the best. Having everyone on the same page with match rules and unlocks would also theoretically make international showmatches and LANs more exciting as NA teams wouldn't need to adjust to a new ruleset.
GOOD LUCK FENNEKS!

Some thoughts: when creating a lobby, would be nice to be able to manually set server password. TF2center did not correctly set server password, had to manually set it myself anyway. This meant no-one got in automatically and a sub for everyone was requested.
Mumble connect did not work for approx. half the people in my lobby.
Also, if all slots for a class are filled and the main page doesn't update, people attempting to join by clicking the class icon get redirected to the home page.
Otherwise, nice interface, very fast and clean. Could be better than TF2lobby in the future.
BLoodSireUntil there is proof that he cheated in a more relevant setting (i.e. in a scrim, or a pug, or a match) I will continue to be unmoved. I just don't see the big deal. The very fact that he signed on an alt and joined a lobby to do these things kind of shows me he was just being a clown. His MGE antics on the account back that up.
You know, some people get their first exposure to competitive TF2 and especially 6s through tf2lobby. Experienced players coming into a lobby and hacking just sends out the message that players in lobbies aren't worth being taken seriously. It's disrespectful and frankly I have no idea how you can justify anyone cheating anywhere - even if it's "just" a pub server, the people playing there should be allowed to play without some douchebag coming along with triggerbot and ruining their experience.
BLoodSireI saw the IP link, and I saw the lobby hack. I did not see where those two were linked. Unless the lobby stats log IP (do they? I honestly might be mistaken if they do, I'm completely ignorant to what the stats log and I admit it) then saying it was him hacking in that lobby is conjecture. In fact, saying he hacked that lobby is itself conjecture. It's circumstantial. Looks bad, and I would say that player was cheating myself, but none of us KNOW.
Trust me, it was really obvious that he was hacking in the lobby.
EDIT: And yeah, it was just a lobby and everyone else there blew it off, but it was a pretty fucking disrespectful move to shit on community players like that.
VortexMangachuhttp://logs.tf/914902sy_morphiendAn active invite player has an account immediately associated with him that was vac banned in the last two months.I asked him if he had cheated, and he said that his younger brother had cheated in gmod, and he guessed his brother cheated in tf2
There are only two ways to prove that this 'excuse' was false
1. The guy that the found the alt/s has to tell us how he found the. (I'm guessing its based of finding their IP and comparing)
2. I would assume if mge was involved its phrakture's alt if not then I dunno

Seems to be an alt for tf2lobby stomping purposes. He has 4 games recorded on logs.tf and they're from Sep 12-13. His VAC ban was apparently 46 days ago which happens to be around the same time. Seems pretty obvious he was cheating.
I hosted the second lobby. Manifold was pretty obviously either the best sniper/scout the world has ever seen or hacking, that's why the player on his team renamed himself to hacker.
easy please
your original point was fine, the more boring rollout is probably faster.
Every time you respond to someone though you just give them more chances to attack you..
Last thing I got was an email on the 22nd of July. I donated because I wanted to see an American team at i49, and the weapon signing would be a nice memento of that. I don't really care that much about getting anything signed at this point but it would be good if someone had just come out and acknowledged that shit wasn't happening.
EDIT: Mana and Tagg both added me, so thanks to both of them for that - i49 was a great experience overall and hopefully this is something to learn from for next time.
Good luck fenneks!
