So what you're trying to say is that some people who worked for blizzard at the time and created these gameplay mechanics are the same people working now on overwatch? I bet that one can probably go even earlier in history of games and find such mechanics in 90s or 80s. They don't own anything just like valve does not own it. But there is a difference between lazy copying and creativity (for the sake of art). I understand that Blizzard is a company, but to me it just seems like they saw a niche and they are desperately trying to fill it. What they are doing with overwatch is they are just reusing existing concepts and mixing them up with everything general public likes. Thats not how you create original content. All that is just to profits of course.
