yeah what a big dumb loser f u blues ha ha
mana is my favorite tf.tv administrator
chugsAvastchugsAnyone else think the view count on all the Overwatch streams is kind of sketchy? Like not really much proof but I think Blizzard may have view botted a few streams.
Considering there's like 10 million people trying to play the beta and like 1% of that got in I'm not at all surprised at high viewer numbers.
But Seagull getting 7k viewers is a bit ridiculous, and the chat didn't look like a typical 7k view chat. Like I said though, it was just a thought. I could be totally wrong
Seagull got super high viewers because several people posted clips from his stream in r/Overwatch. He's super popular over there because he's one of the few popular streamers playing it that doesn't suck ass.
Plus the night/morning stream he got 7k there were no super big streams on at the same time.
His most recent streams at peak hours have been pulling like 3k.

MattwCV sure does try a lot to make people think he's stupid despite denying it so strongly.
Glad we've reached the exact same conclusion we did last time.
Time to watch more Overwatch streams.
MattCVGenuinely think people think I am jealous of people getting paid money to play this game which couldn't be further than the truth, I wish valve backed tf2 and I wish that players were earning salaries for the hard work they put into the game and it would be super cool for that to be the case.
I personally have dedicated nearly 1800 hours into this game, I have been a runner up at an I series and was 7th place at i55, in some e sports 7th place is good enough to get some prize money so I def am not objecting to people getting paid for playing this game.
I have mentioned many times that there are donation drives that I have personally supported.
My whole point is that we have gone from getting teams to compete in the biggest tf2 competitions to buying a prem player a pc. I surely can't be the only one to think that is a bad thing.
So you're willing to admit that if someone spent the time to get good at tf2, people like watching them play, and offer incentives to those that compensate them so they can continue to play they haven't earned it?
This is the million dollar question Matt answer honestly like the honest hardworking man you are.
Ah it all comes together.
Only the people playing games that are popular deserve money to be good at it.
At least I can rest easy knowing you're not objecting because professional athletes of any sort don't actually contribute a tangible service, it's just because you don't like people getting paid to do things you don't personally consider "valuable".
If it was the first case you'd at least have some intellectual high ground.
MattCVAll this shadowburn protecting is a bit silly, I am sorry but this is how the world works, in order to have nice things you have to work to get them, the "donation perks" he is offering are things that he would do anyway not sure you could exactly classify it as working.
Being a student is expensive, likely meaning you can't afford to buy a PC, if you want to get a PC whilst being a student most people would thinking about going out and getting a job to pay for it.
People can argue that they are allowed to spend there money on whatever they want and of course this is true, I just think this is setting a shitty precedent, good at the game and want a new PC? Why don't I just offer some mge matches or a pick up game and get people to pay me for it?
Imagine if it was an open player that had posted this and you already know what the reactions would be.
I think people in this thread don't actually understand how the world works.
So lets have a hypothetical. What if a professional athlete who wasn't making a lot of money offered lessons to people in his/her respective sport to make money? Would you consider this wrong?
You're on an esports website, Shadowburn is the equivalent of a professional in our game, if he offers lessons or tips to players in an effort to make money that seems pretty fair.
And the reason no one would buy lessons from an open players is because they're an open player, same reason why people wouldn't pay for lessons from a amateur player in basketball. It's not a hard concept, you're just dense.
omnificremember the dango crowdfunded bong
i can assure you dango did not get a crowdfunded bong, that was dingo
My bad.
So he's a college student which is arguably worse considering he's likely sinking whatever income he has into his education.
I feel that somehow only makes it even more reasonable to ask for help.
I know as a college student myself if i needed to sink 500$ to play games I wouldn't be able to afford it for a while without help. Plus my nation's currency also doesn't have the value of toilet paper.
