#116 PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK in Off Topic
ForefatherVanaWhat an awful tragedy, my thoughts go out to the victims families.

Also please ignore Forefather were not all bogans here down under.
I'm a bogan because I realize this could have been prevented by not allowing dangerous people into ones homeland

nice

I think the Aborigines might feel the same way about you don't you think.

Regardless of who did what I can guarantee we're going to see the immediate impact of this in both domestic French politics and in the EU abroad.

This could very well be their 9/11, here's hoping they don't roll out their own equivalent mistake of the Patriot Act.

#5 Best mouse? in Hardware

The g303 currently has the best sensor on the market besides the g502 but the g502's design is also not great

Mice I would currently reccomend:
DA 2013/Chroma or w/e
Zowie FK1 or ZA series
Steelseries Rival 100 if you have really thin hands
Mionix Castor

The DA has pretty good ergonomic shape, isn't too expensive, is an overall solid mouse with solid sensor, really just depends if you want to deal with razer products (i.e synapse)

Zowie FK1 and ZA series are both great, flawless sensors with good build quality and no driver crap but have huano switches which are a lot stiffer to click compared to just about every other mouse out there, also lean towards the expensive side, shapes are both good just depends how big your hand is

Rival 100 has solid build quality, price, and good sensor but has odd DPI steps compared to most mice and the shape/design of the mouse is very thin and the buttons are placed very far down the mouse making it uncomfortable imo but it could suit you

The Castor has pretty some of the best build quality of any mice I've ever used, flawless sensor, solid mouse design and shape, no wonky software or dpi steps, but also the most expensive or one of the most expensive mice on this list

It's a shame the g303's shape is so bad because it would be my all time favorite mouse if it wasn't

#124 Fallout 4 in Other Games

companions don't die so theres no reason to not always have one considering they can just act as walking storage and can occasionally clear traps

also i still haven't had any real bugs with any sort of consistency so this game is definitely a 10/10 pick up if you get it like i did for $45 because it definitely rejuvenated my love for the series bc i loved fallout 3 but didn't like NV as much

but it definitely seems as if some people are having way more bugs than others which is really annoying, and i can agree that pre-purchasing is a really dumb concept.

how is it all enjoyable to spend like twenty minutes on a single piece of dialogue reloading it to get the exact thing you want

i honestly do not have time for that

save scumming is a literal non problem bc its just exploiting the game, it doesn't make you unable to play or enjoy it if you don't do it

sure it's dumb but it isn't as if the game is forcing you to reload saves over and over while playing the system

#103 Fallout 4 in Other Games

I recapped my fps and went back to the default Prefs.ini files and my game runs fantastic on Ultra Now

Definitely think the graphics could have been updated considering I'm running a brand spanking new AAA title on an over two year old PC on Ultra but it still looks pretty nice and I'm enjoying it a lot more now that my frame issues are worked out.

Would honestly give it a 9/10 (maybe more once i get more into it) once the fuckery of the fps is resolved.

Edit:
The only real glitches I've ran into is a couple times I've gotten stuck in between something and couldn't escape forcing me to reload my save as I can't fast travel while jumping/in air and a much dumber bug where when you go to put a fusion core into your power armor that the animation for it will have you get stuck walking into the suit unable to complete the sequence which is absolutely retarded.

I'm also running it in fullscreen haven't really tried the borderless windowed option

It's default capped at 60? So if I've uncapped it already I just delete the edits in the .ini file and it will be recapped right?

Only played for a couple hours but haven't had any problems yet, however it feels like it isn't as smooth as it should be.

Is it better to uncap your FPS or leave it capped?

#93 the unpugable maps in TF2 General Discussion
clckwrkinstead of a one liner that reeks of condescension i would like to know why pro granary is worse ty mr waldo

It isn't worse, he's just upset that all the extra stuff you could do as soldier (the only class that could have fun on the map) is gone despite granary pro being an improvement in literally every conceivable way.

WaldoAlso fuck cp_granary_heresy it got rid of most of the hiding spots, map quirks, interesting geometry, and really everything that made it worth having in the pool, evidence that catering to the unwashed hordes who actually post in map threads is an awful idea.

While I agree that gran pro took out many of the hiding spots, everything about the map in terms of respawn times/pushing out of last, choke points, and especially fucking ammo packs are so much better it's actually made the map fun to play for anyone that isn't a soldier.

Viaduct pugs aren't going to be fun unless you're ok with offclassing nearly 24/7 because that's just how it is

Granary and Sunshine are both fine no idea why they're not pugged, the only bad part is gran mid but it's really not that big of a deal

All the problems with metalworks aren't really seen in pugs since it's actually the worst when it comes to stalemates and pushes but there's not really the same level of coordination in pugs

Was super hyped, now I'm kind of unsure how I feel about this game.
