Yeah ammomod is really just how good you are at purely hitting shots, whereas badlands middle in particular has a lot of strategy and positioning in it.

GentlemanJonSpaceCadetSorry but this makes no sense to me at all. If someone is going to put up money to play in a tournament, why would you give the ""very strong players" an additional edge? All players, strong and weak, pay the same money to compete in the tournament, they should both have to win an equal amount of matches to advance.To ensure players have a decent chance of getting some matches for their money obviously. There are numerous sporting precedent for this in esports and normal sports, open qualifiers into the seeded section are a regular occurrence. Nobody thinks Novak Djokovic should have to play people ranked 587 in the world rankings to qualify for the US Open. He's in already because he's proven to be an elite Tennis player.
If someone has played MGE often enough to get a reputation then if there's an MGE tournament there's no reason it shouldn't be recognised because a) they've already earned it and b) it means that if you run a tournament 2.0 you might get some people who were weak the first time signing up the 2nd time instead of having paid their money and having had a horrible experience for 5 minutes.
A serious alternative suggestion might be a group stage.
In case you hadn't noticed TF2 cup series in general fail continuously because people get sick of being destroyed in the first round when they had no chance. Cup organisers fail to account for this repeatedly so platforms like Razer, who were all for supporting us to begin with, die through lack of numbers.SpaceCadetb4nnyIs he known for being particularly good at MGE?

AdebisiEven sticking to Valve servers, before casual you would sometimes spend hours on the same server with the same people, playing various maps.
Now it's only ever temporary. You might get an occasional rematch, but it's not the same thing and it rarely lasts. You shit out the matches. I do like the increased focus on competitiveness, but the rest of the changes are pretty dubious. I still enjoy it, but being rolled through a multi stage map with half the players the other team has, is also not fun.
I think this is the biggest thing for me. I could join a payload valve server and spend like 5 hours on it, playing badwater, upward, thundermountain, and goldrush. Some people would stay, some would join. You never had to wait and it was always fun. Now I get matched into one map, and half the time the game is almost over. Such a bad system imo.

this pisses me off every time i see it. The playercount =/= the community. This game is f2p ffs, of course you're gonna see these numbers. Look at payday 2, that community is dead but it still has player numbers. Im not saying the game is dead but this isnt what determines it.

They don't have "all the nukes" and building more Nuclear Weapons at this point is meaningless on a strategic level. I believe building more Nuclear Weapons is more careless than anything else because just creating the weapon means it can fall into the wrong hands. Nobody wins in a nuclear war and tactical nuclear strikes are completely out of the question for major powers. You cannot win a Nuclear war on a first strike basis because:
Both sides have the ultimate deterrent that would guarantee mutual destruction. We have our 14+ Ohio class submarines lurking in the water with 24 Trident Missiles and the Russians have Typhoon and Borei class subs with comparable armament. That much silent and hidden nuclear power is more than enough to destroy the whole planet.
That's a myth, our nuclear capabilities are still greater than Russia's and will be for many years to come
They actually have quite a few nukes, and some estimates say slightly more than us. However, the rest of their military is certainly weaker and worse equipped than ours.

After all there are people making million's selling carbon shares.
