PeteHe's already proven that personal shit will affect him and he'll way over react and act out of spite. Don't let that guy make decisions on where people get to play etc
Can you give an example of this? Not doubting you, just informed and ready to join the engie main hate train
I realized recently that steel, along with upward, is one of the few maps played commonly in highlander without a promod. What kind of changes would be beneficial in a pro version of cp_steel? It's a map which hasn't really been changed since 2009 so there definitely should be at least a few things it could benefit from.
trippano but rly dont let sigafoo control a league because he already showed that he will ban people from playing together because they win
Please explain, new to the sigafoo hate train
sorry for bumping again, but i really need to get this fixed
aslI had this issue years ago on my old q9400 system. I ended up tracking it down to unstable ram settings.
How would I fix the issue? Is there some setting I can change or do I need to get new ram?
For a while now my tf2 has been getting random crashes where the screen freezes and the audio will continuously loop. It's been happening more and more recently and makes it very tough for me to play in my league matches when I crash in half of them.
Here's a video example of what happens (not my video, but identical to my problem)

Does anybody know of a fix for this? I've already tried lowering my gpu overclocks, verifying the integrity of tf2, switching from mastercomfig 7 (the app installed one) to a regular file version of mastercomfig, and changing a whole host of windows settings. Any help would be appreciated.
sigafooBatbatDo you have those statistics by team count? I would think highlander has way more sub players and roster riders than other formats would.
The stats in both of those images are purely the starters, so six for sixes and nine for Highlander, seven for Prolander.
Very surprising data then, thank you.
I didn't think highlander had ever gotten that big.
mastercomsHave you tried this experimental version of mastercomfig? https://gist.github.com/mastercoms/a7eeb371ac2c066feb3e0d397b8086c7
I've been getting reports that it helps a lot, especially on high end PCs.
Is this a new version you just developed? I have a similar issue to OP and I've been using Mastercomfig 7 (the client) for a month or two now and while it makes the game much cleaner visually it hasn't helped too much fps wise.
sigafooScrewballHighlander was always a meme format that older players tend to leave after a few seasons of meming and the novelty wears off.
Except for the fact it was the largest format in NA for 4.5 years straight, during the peek of tf2.
Unsurprisingly the following season saw a stark drop in teams. Only about 10 signed up and again one div despite the disparity in skill. To my knowledge, about half of those teams dropped out pretty early on in the season.
RGL.gg was a 7v7 Prolander league only until the fall of 2018. Where we brought on HL and the majority of the player base jumped ship to play in RGL. While money might have played a factor for Invite, all other divisions had no prize pool. Meaning those people came over because of the league, not the money. If you're curious, here's the player counts from the main leagues in NA from spring.
