A/D maps have generally not been very popular in 6v6, and I don't believe the game mode has the same amount of depth and potential as 5cp and koth, so I decided to exclude it all together, as to not leave people at an unfair disadvantage should they choose to make an A/D map

The intention is to give players ample opportunity to play-test the maps. The mappers would like this as well.

Hello everyone. I'm hosting a map making competition ( See the TF2Maps.net thread for full details and rules ) which aims to find the next great 6v6 map!
There are a lot of unresolved details at this time, but here is a rough overview:

• Mappers have until March 16th, 2018 to create either a koth or 5cp map
  
• A group of experts will pick out the 3 best maps
  
• These 3 maps will be used in a big tournament
  
• The participating teams vote on their favorite maps
  
• The winning map receives a 130€ first prize, as well as a SVIFT hoodie, while the runner ups each get 35€

I personally believe that introducing new maps to the map pool is an essential part of keeping the game fresh and add some spice to the meta game, so that's why I'm doing this whole competition to begin with.

I've thought about redoing Mike's legacy before. The loss was particularly bad in that video and as you said he's got a few more things to add since then. I also hate Zebbosai legacy with a passion, so maybe I'll take a look at that one some day. The rest of them I'm pretty happy with tbh, so I won't be changing those.

In general I'd prefer to make new videos rather than retreading already covered ground, though
