DrewBolshevikAre you getting dropped frames? You might want to try streaming to a different server. The server nearest to me dropped frames frequently when I tried streaming.reillyhttp://obsproject.com/estimatorThanks, that link was really helpful. Gonna try 3000 Max Bitrate with a 5 or maybe 6 quality. I was running 6000 Max Bit Rate the other night, and my viewers were experience some slight stuttering and i'd like to eliminate that. Will report back with my findings.
What hooky said should be about right. You could probably use a lower bitrate than that though, and I wouldn't recommend streaming at 60fps without overclocking.
I was getting a constant 120 never dropping, but if you mean dropped frames for the viewers than I guess so.

I've recently started streaming. I'm looking for what you guys think I should try on OBS for Max Bit Rate and Buffer Size. I don't know if it matters, but my PC specs are listed as well.
Superoverclocked GTX 660
Intel Core i5-3450 Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz
8 GB of Corsair RAM
And just as I had got a respectably sized playlist...
TerraI have a Puretrak Talent, and I can definitively say that it is worth EVERY cent I spent on it.
I am currently using my BRAND NEW Puretrak, and absolutely love it. I have a small desk, and it covers most of it, so i'm never running off it. Definitely recommend it.
Gullywash, Granary, and Process are maps I would consider good for comp. if you are looking for inspiration. Edit: Badlands. Thought I had typed it first ;-;
justin hs'ing kbk and fully torqued cleaning up the match.
Saltysally1i don't think anybody would want to steal my name.
he doesn't suspect a thing, proceed with plan: name steal
ray's stream pretty much consumed my summer nights last year. and he's cute.
Suspect #2 apparently caught alive: http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/19/17823265-its-over-boston-bombing-suspect-captured-alive-police-say?lite
Ordered the G400 and the Talent combo. Should be here soon, hopefully in time for my birthday. Will report back with how it works (though I doubt I need to) in case someone else was wondering. 1 less thread about it at least.
Alright, it looks like the G400 will work for me then. I'm also looking for a new mouse pad (though I won't make the mistake of opening a new thread for it). I'm sort of torn between the PureTrak Talent and the Qck Heavy. I'm leaning more towards the Talent, but the Heavy seems to have more users/high reviews. Any opinions on that?
P.S. Thanks for the pictures, appreciate people adding images to their claims.
