Don't think he's serious about the meds, he's just trying to pass it (the depression) off as a joke (is what most people do when they're depressed/sad) but defenitly try to get a hold of someone that knows him irl, it's your safest bet in ensuring he doesn't do anything rash.

When I was 14 we had this 13 yr old girl in my class who wasn't the brightest, she had a 19 year old bf (lol?) and he asked her to send nudes and mastrubation vids, dumb thing she was she did it and OFC the photo's/videos leaked and like the entire school knew within a week and when the teachers found out they told our class to not talk about it, meanwhile entire school was talking about it and teachers blamed some small kid from my class who still had the video on his phone for spreading and he got expelled
same sort of thing happened a year before that in another class, school please
year before first story i had a kid in my class who annoyed my biology teacher so much that the teacher (really big guy) grabbed him by his arm, threw him out of the classroom and then threw the chair with his books after him, class was dead silent for 3 weeks
