I used to play a ridiculous amount of Ace Online (also known as Air Rivals or even Space Cowboy Online), but it is now a depressing dump of p2w models, a shrinking community, and an apparent inability to get more than 2fps on windows 10 due to bugs, poor optimization and an uncommunicative dev team.
I'm looking for another game that offers the same kind of gameplay, I could live without the whole mmo aspect, although I enjoyed that greatly, but I'm really looking for the same gameplay mechanics of fast paced dogfighting (not really realistic, but it was space, and I don't care about realism).
I've already taken a look at Strike Vector and while it's good there's not enough players for me to really get into it.
Pretty much every other game I've looked into either has steam reviews up the wazoo about bad business models or is super slow paced.
Tl;dr, I'm looking for another game similar to AO/AR
rowpieces just because you can hit loch'nload airshots in pugchamp on me it doesn't make you a good demoman >:(

i didn't think people still talked like this in current year
well you'd hear the crit sound and someone's death screams, the killfeed goes off and the casters lose it. it's even more obvious if it's the only kill going on in a stalemate
on the other hand in a team fight with frags going down all around a bunch of killsounds is definitely not going to help anyone.
