I enjoyed playing with hippo. Smart player. He excels when he speaks his mind in game. Great pickup for any team. Totally agree with paddie. Gl.

<3 Sends me the most random messages. A real cutie.
Too bad xensity cant keep a roster. It takes guts to keep attempting to make it work. Not sure what's going on behind the scenes but it sounds like tough times. Hope everything works out for them. I've been rooting for them (mostly b/c rb and mausy are da bes). Even if people give arc crap.
Anything is possible. If you're a team with awesome attitudes and willing to listen to one another.
But one thing I will not stand for is replacing another medic. I would rather sit out in a season then replace someone else who a team could have worked with in the beginning, especially in open. That's the time to learn.
But in all honesty I am more open to playing demo/soldier/scout to help newer teams learn the game.
Damn you FOG! ;]
IM team didn't work out. We parted on mutual terms. I have all fees paid, even premium. Would love to play with cool people. Will off-class or play medic with the right people. Add me and talk to me on steam for tryout.
(Might consider backing up.)
Peace.

This actually does cover a bit of everything. From your first program to Object Oriented Programming (OOP), to user interfaces. Good luck. Java is one of the most used programming languages at this time. Make sure to pay attention when they talk about OOP. Those questions come up alot in interviews.
stack overflow (dot) com is great for overall understanding of subjects (even for other languages like C, python, Matlab, etc). You can get quick help there.
But if you're poly-sci not sure how relevant all of this would be to you personally. But on the flip-side, I can see actually alot of applications where they might need a programmer. Interesting...
I just rebound +attack1 and +attack2 (or whatever the default commands for mouse1 and mouse2 are) to my left and right key board buttons(<- and ->). I also added +jump to another key for switching in between 1st person and 3rd person view.
I did also try rebounding those keys like kace recommended. But it did not work for me.
Alternately, when you watch demos you can set your keys back to default and just make sure to re-exec your config when you start playing again. Ex. "exec autoexec" then "exec medic" or which ever class you are playing.
I am not trolling 1st of all.
I just want someone who has an extremely strong grip (as medic) on controlling players regardless of their experience playing and has time to review things with me (1-2 demos/recordings a week). In the past I did this by keeping track of uber percentage/men up. But I had a pocket who would call pushes so we worked in tandem and I did regroup people to places that are beneficial to how we played (SYOPS). But with my new team this we have a strange structure and I really need to take on more of a larger leadership role. And my goal is to become a main caller who controls the overall game-flow even past the uber percentage.
I basically want one person who will review demos/mumble recording 1-2 days a week with me friday, saturday, or sunday.
I would prefer a medic with invite experience, but honestly anyone who has a strong command of others in IM would also be nice. I would prefer someone who is very honest with themselves and others.
I am extremely committed to improving myself as a player and a leader. I dont bite.
Edit: I have found 2 amazing people to talk to that have time. Thank you all for reading. Feel free to message me if you do want to talk strats with me. I am open for any new friends or advisors. :)
My name is pronounced cherios according to pyyyour. LOL. I'll be watching and somehow rooting for both teams. o.O.
Not sure if this would help. But when I was talking to other streamers these two things helped me get a stable stream without losing a ton of frames.
2 things:
1) Lower your stream resolution.
Example: My resolution for playing is 1920x1080 (16:9) for most games. However I stream with a resolution of 768x432 (16:9).
2) Lower Buffer rate.
Example: I also have approx 16Mbps down and 1.61Mbps up. So I lowered my buffer rate to around 700kbit. I am sure if people have a much faster upload speed their streams could look really nice without much lag. But If I go up any more, I get horrible lag while playing. I know my stream does not look amazing. But it gets the job done. In the future when I have a reliable job I plan on increasing the upload speed. Until then, I'll just stream what I can.
Btw, sometimes I mess around with the buffer if I feel I get too much lag in game. Do play around with this as you need to.
I hope this helps. Gl.
your sensitivity looked really low...
Gaming Economics 101. Interesting video. :)
I have always been interested in the idea of a "unification of platforms".
I am always up for helping. But tonight I finished up my finals + graduated from college, so I kind of wanted to take it easy tonight. You're always welcome to message me to coach. I have enjoyed playing with the newer players. And generally had a great time coaching, except for one situation where a player really got down on himself for having really bad aim. That kind of made me sad for the dude, because there was nothing I could say or do to help him. (His attitude) Really drug down the whole team... tbh.
Anyways, when I come into mumble to play with the newbies I always find myself thinking, what would I want to know in their shoes? And I always wonder how much these kids playing with me actually know? So I generally play pocket and tell them what to do. But is that really teaching them? And on that note, Trekkie's comment on the players that really do know how to play and play in the pugs do ruin the pugs. Especially for the really new players who do not understand the general game-flow. [below] [Side note: Also the coaches who do not actually teach but troll the other team by allowing players to run double pyro or sniper or heavy... ie stupid off-classing that the newbies do not know how to counter very well..In one instance a coach literally ran pyro like 40% of the game...]
TrekkieI have coached many of these, and the absolute worst part of it is not the peopl who dont know how to play, its the people who do.
People who have basically figured out how to play and/or can DM on another level from the majority of the players ruin the experience.
If you know how to play, go play pug.na or something and quit being a showoff twat.
EDIT: if i had read the thread, i would have found that my opinion isnt quite as revolutionary as i thought.
Anyways, I'll try to come in for some more. And maybe we can brainstorm about keeping newbies in (learning as much as they can) and keep the not-so-newbies out (ie recommend #tf2.pug.na or #tf2mix).
