*Adapters-- Supposedly, according to some articles I have been reading there is no quality loss in adapters (so it can't be that- HDMI-dvi/vga-dvi/etc).

*Graphics cards-- The next thing I would look into is your GPU cards. If they are old consider upgrading them? Check your current specs on what you have now.

*Update all drivers-- Also make sure you have all your graphics drivers up to date: graphics card, monitors, etc.

Recently got that one ^. I really like it. Mx red key switches. I did find out that I do not like the key replacements. It just felt too structured and actually made me think about pressing the keys. Just my observation. Maybe you will love having your wasd/123456 keys fit around your fingers. But I use other keys as well and I felt the edging limited how fast I could reach to other keys, as well as typical daily typing.

But yeah overall, super-fast response from the mx red switches. And the keyboard is pretty quiet for the most part. The lighting and windows key off/on are definitely nice as well.

Anyways, even if you do not like this one and b/c it is outside your price range. Do look at the mx red switch keys. Just do a simple search on newegg.com.
