I had a strong vendetta against star back in the day, simply because he was the most popular tf2 youtube and seemed to hate making videos, complaining that his high effort videos made 500k views while his low effort ones got more...

That aside, I remember him making really solid points on how the competitive community is always anxious to scrutinize the people who try to be missionaries of the game. He said something specifically around the time of Ruwin's crucifixion, which if you think about it, is what already happens to b4nny on the regular now. The difference being that b4nny is too thick skinned and stubborn to be bothered by it.

It's funny looking back on it retrospectively, as people's biggest gripes with Ruwin were his proclivity to a juvenile sense of humor, and ultimately ONE comment about a picture of someone he went to high school with. If only the eager-to-persecute knew how much more they'd come to hate b4nny.
