Thanks for posting, Blaine. I enjoyed watching the film. Got me proper fucked up on those high school nostalgia vibes
My advice is:
1) keep making things
2) try to be more considerate of the pace of editing. while on one hand we are in this 0 attention span, jumpcut hell of a modern world, and some slow edits can be refreshing, I thought this was the biggest thing that could improve the quality of your short film(s). dont think of it like you are making the pace fast, its more about trimming the fat to get the best bang for your buck from every shot. every shot is an opportunity to deliver new information to the audience, so know when there is dead space and consider for example, -> "maybe here, I should cut this shot from 6 seconds to 3 seconds, because the information conveyed is already obvious from the first 3 seconds, and hanging on the shot for too long might inadvertently break the audience's immersion"
This post is too ahead of its time
In 2017, it's reception is like a splash in an ocean of disinterest. But in 2030, this is a category 5 tropical storm. There are only two options: Evacuate, or Give In and Praise
can't get over this one!

Reading these kind of blog posts reminds me of having to half-ass homework assignments last minute. Like you know you can write some bullshit to save face for how bad you've been procrastinating that will atleast seem tolerable and get an OKAY grade, but it comes with this real icky feeling like you're blackening your heart with lies and have to swallow the sour taste of your own insincerity as you ashamedly proofread it once before submitting
the sickest post you can make on TF.TV is when you use the OP's half-assed thread question or prompt against them, to highlight what a bad prompt it was. It's like "how's that kryptonite, ... Bitch?"
