thanks for the replies but I guess its sort of hard to explain id make a video but im kind of lazy... I also seem to have found a small shitty solution its only a problem with my crouch being bound to control if +jump is bound to any other key I can crouch jump around normally so I have made the change to having shift as my crouch button even though its kind of annoying to get used to

just to try and explain what is happening again I know what ctapping is and how to do it I dont have a crouch jump script installed and ive been crouch jumping the same way ever since I knew what it was

a crouch jump would be Crouch > jump very soon after

rocket jump would be crouch > jump and shoot almost at the same time

but now instead what happens is I crouch then go to press jump less than half a second later and my character just wont jump

so normally when I crouch jump or rocket jump my keyboard input is crouch > jump > shoot or just crouch > jump I think some people do jump > crouch > shoot which works for me but its hard to just change my habit and I THINK its also worse for rocket jumping to do it like that

random note that if I use my scroll wheel to jump instead of space it works like normal I can do crouch > scroll wheel > shoot but thats also uncomfy id rather just figure out how I can go back to doing control (crouch) > space (jump) > m1 (shoot)

edit: btw I know I cant jump while fully crouched im talking about the small window where you can jump and your character is just sorta crouching down and not fully squatted yet

also keep in mind this happened over night ive spent a lot of time on jump maps and a ton of time in the game in general and ive NEVER had this issue before its not a timing thing that im just now screwing up after 8000 hours of gameplay something changed and I dont know what because I didnt edit anything or move anything all I can think of is that my control key on my keyboard is just fucked

once he shakes the rust off (might not even have much) hes going to be pounding dont sleep on him and be the one hes taking to the dumpster when you could have had him for yourself

im not sure if you mean over the course of the day you are playing that much or if your sessions are that long so I may be wrong here but if you are having sessions that are 2+ hours long you probably arent focusing enough

you might be different but I know after around 1-2 hours depending on how much im focusing of DM or mge id be mentally spent and like ive said we may be different but if you are playing/practicing for 3-4 hours at a time imo you could cut that down quite a bit and just try to focus more intensely

im not saying shut off your music (I would actually die irl if I had to mge or dm without my music) but spend some more time thinking about each shot making each and every one as efficient as possible (mid range 50s and 60s instead of 20s) and focusing on ammo management or making sure you dont eat that direct from across the map or below you

im no master of girls not even close but her friends did say that she sorta panicked since she hasnt had a boyfriend in a while imo "Hey, I'm really sorry. :/ I need to think about it...good night :)" at 2am was possibly just her having a bit of trouble sleeping from being embarrassed about what happened or potentially stressed out and that text was her way of getting it off her mind so she could sleep

I used to change my sensitivity a lot and to make sure that it never swapped back to my previous one almost everytime I died id press tilde type se and it would fill itself out and id look at the number to make sure it was right then id tilde again

I dont do it anymore since I never change my sens now but back in day it was like every death ` se `

its been mentioned a few times but I also never stop bhopping around

I dont think ive ever slipped like that but once I said "im up" instead of "im back" referring to letting your team know when you are up/respawned

other than that I think im more vocal than a lot of people especially my family, ive seen my mum and sister try to use the staircase at the same time and they kinda just met in the middle and stared at eachother while trying to figure out what to do

if someone is walking up the stairs while im walking down I just say im going left and its as easy as that

or if im helping my dad move furniture when he leads he literally doesnt speak and he will just stare at me like im an idiot because I dont know wtf he wants from me

but if im leading ill communicate what I need from him and where im going/what im thinking I dunno I think its helpful it definitely doesnt hurt
