20 minutes on and the mumble has descended into all out war, my return continues to go as planned
I'm back :D
perfection. unreal consistency, you can always rely on him to come through with the goods
No joke, back when tf2stadium opened up, I made a lobby with a few friends and we ended up with this guy and mackey (the ex-invite player) on our team. Still one of the more surreal experiences I've had in this game https://www.tf2stadium.com/lobby/3184
I Miss My Gamers
I would win 1 or 2 mids per season if I was lucky
What would the team play like in game? What would mumble be like? How long could the team survive?
GGs boxcar team, ty to michael and arch for stepping in for me and revan and doing a great job :D proud of my gamers, gonna miss them when I leave :(
from last season but
Bump...
My travel plans changed. I'm away for the entirety of June. My team needs a roamer to play for us for the month (and maybe after, we'll see) which is 8 ESEA matches, starting next week.
Our roster is:
Scout: Revan + Ted
Roamer: You?
Pocket: Lieutenant Lemons
Demo: apathy
Medic: Virgil
These talented gamers are more than capable of making playoffs without me holding them back. Virgil will be leading the team while I'm gone, so add her here if you're interested!
Unfortunately they were relegated :(
I think it's very easy to underestimate how much a lack of experience and comfort on a map affects enjoyment. We haven't had a map pool change in NA in a really long time, and we know every map in the pool very well, they're figured out and we've experienced most of what they have to offer. It's uncomfortable to have constant new situations and no understanding of how mids and pushes play out from previous games.
If some random map like gullywash were introduced now, that same effect would be in play. There would be a lot of criticism, and not much talk of the strengths of the map. However, that's not to say introducing a map straight to the esea pool is a good idea - especially without several weeks' notice to allow teams to scrim the map.
I only played cardinal in a few new map pugs a while back, and thought it seemed pretty fun, but I have no idea whether it's a decent map. I do welcome, though, having a new map to scrim and play on - I'm ready for something new. Hopefully we all start to learn the map, and the map is improved over time as well. For now, the map won't be going away this season, so either ban it or try to learn it and give feedback on it if you're willing to go through the discomfort of playing it with your teams.
I'm hyped to watch again. Go all of these players :D
