#302 Worst TF2 Frag Videos? in Videos

No joke, back when tf2stadium opened up, I made a lobby with a few friends and we ended up with this guy and mackey (the ex-invite player) on our team. Still one of the more surreal experiences I've had in this game https://www.tf2stadium.com/lobby/3184

#12 BUFF CANADIAN Esports LFP Open in Recruitment (looking for players)

Bump...

My travel plans changed. I'm away for the entirety of June. My team needs a roamer to play for us for the month (and maybe after, we'll see) which is 8 ESEA matches, starting next week.

Our roster is:
Scout: Revan + Ted
Roamer: You?
Pocket: Lieutenant Lemons
Demo: apathy
Medic: Virgil

These talented gamers are more than capable of making playoffs without me holding them back. Virgil will be leading the team while I'm gone, so add her here if you're interested!

#20 PSA: Give cardinal a chance in TF2 General Discussion

I think it's very easy to underestimate how much a lack of experience and comfort on a map affects enjoyment. We haven't had a map pool change in NA in a really long time, and we know every map in the pool very well, they're figured out and we've experienced most of what they have to offer. It's uncomfortable to have constant new situations and no understanding of how mids and pushes play out from previous games.

If some random map like gullywash were introduced now, that same effect would be in play. There would be a lot of criticism, and not much talk of the strengths of the map. However, that's not to say introducing a map straight to the esea pool is a good idea - especially without several weeks' notice to allow teams to scrim the map.

I only played cardinal in a few new map pugs a while back, and thought it seemed pretty fun, but I have no idea whether it's a decent map. I do welcome, though, having a new map to scrim and play on - I'm ready for something new. Hopefully we all start to learn the map, and the map is improved over time as well. For now, the map won't be going away this season, so either ban it or try to learn it and give feedback on it if you're willing to go through the discomfort of playing it with your teams.
