If you designed a tf2 mod, how'd it be like?

And with mods im mainly talking about games made out of the current assets or like big overhauls
Thought about this a lot recently actually, I think it's cool to theorize about ways to change / improve the game.

Note that I don't really think its realistic that any tf2 mod will take off I'm just interested in what kind of ideas people have.
One idea I had was to just grab the current 6s format and split the cookie cutter classes to a couple of subclasses, while having other classes dissappear or aggregate into a new subclass (like spy & sniper becoming one), and then having the class limit 1 like overwatch. along with having nerfed things like sniper sightlines (to allow more open maps), sentries and the airblast class - Sounds pretty shit in some ways maybe but I think it could be pulled off

FubarCollaideAnd since gullywash is actually is made by Scorpio Uprising (I think?) valve won't fix minor things like dat.
Arnold -> gullywash, croissant, bazillion
Scorpio -> process, metalworks, standin
But yes, Valve historically does not fix maps if they are not broken, even more so with community maps. However, the original creators are free to be as proactive as they want and submit any changes. (they'd be included in some future patch when it's convenient to Valve, unless it's urgent).

Aight if imma be honest the lyrics managed to both be nonsensical and corny... and it sounds like dubstep (in 2018 mind u) but someone removed the bass from it. I don't really see the appeal

All I want is a compromise version of reckoner rc2a and rc4. No dropdown, no new flank, and point on bridge. :heart_eyes:
BloodisI'd wish that at least Valve would be able to make general improvements to Gullywash to fix out the issues the map has had for years now and either make some hiding spots people have figured out more blatant or remove them, whichever they would see better fit to do. Of course I would expect that it's not something they could be able to do without the permission of the original map maker, but it's just a wish of mine since it is my favourite map of the whole game.
However I would also hate for anyone to even make a "pro version" of Gullywash because not only would everybody in TF2 be unable to come to any agreement on what should be fixed and what shouldn't, but also it would make us depend on yet another map on our own life support for few small improvements which we can live without as well. If we ever would come to a spot where we'd need to make a new pro version of a map then we're just better off getting an entirely new, polished map instead that could still have a future ahead instead of a fond past.
I once considered going through gullywash and literally only fixing splash bugs, clipping and make some props unsolid but honestly its just not fun to do.
And since gullywash is actually is made by Arnold (I know he made it) valve won't fix minor things like dat.

MarxistIt gets easier collaide. When I was younger I'd *constantly* second guess myself and agonize over my actions. Part of that process is figuring out who you actually are and what you believe - and knowing what you want out of a given situation. That comes with time. Part of the reason we fixate on that stuff when you're younger is because you're trying to figure those sorts of things out. I won't say I don't still screw up or say the wrong things, but I get over it a lot faster.
If you really do fuck up and offend somebody, then take ownership of it and apologize if you don't want to end that particular relationship. I have run into cohorts who are socially awkward and *also* irresponsible so they tend to find themselves isolated because they not only offend people, accidentally, but then they don't seem to process why or even that the other party has a right to be offended.
The real downside to being old is encountering the perpetually grumpy folks that inhabit so many adult spaces lol.
