Honestly college in general is dumb in the US 90% of the shit they teach us doesn't matter or is to outdated, or meaningless without actual work experience. Even getting a degree doesn't usually help us get a job it actually usually bars us from getting a lot of jobs from being overqualified.

Most of this is just a marketing campaign to enter Asian markets. Pretty obvious. SNSD was/is huge in Korea, and Anime promotion in Japan has been used with success multiple times before by non-Asian countries.

Just kinda wanted to throw out there that most 8ms ips monitors in my experience usually have faster and clearer pixel transitions than IPS monitors that are marketed as 5ms.
Worth mentioning the Yamakasi Catleap 2B Extreme is a 1440p Monitor.
You can probably get 120+Hz on that monitor with Display Port and a monitor overclock optimization.
Also Might be interested in the DAs.

You cant benchmark it, it's something you have to do by yourself, see if game runs faster or not, but by logic, freeing up memory 24/7 while moving, shouldn't cause any harm
Hmmm.
Can't you record a demo with said mem_compact running all the time, Then benchmark by running the demo (since demos record all actions and scripts provided they are aliased properly). After that run the command:
alias mem_compact ""
Then rerun said demo?
By the way I test these commands all mem_compact would do is keep you at your initial benchmark FPS. It wouldn't actually increase performance in the 1st timedemo, and if you were to constantly run the command it would likely use up some cpu power. So making a bind for it and hitting it every round or Half would provide optimal performance.

Comangliaso I've played on various 6s and HL scrim servers and some pub servers that I know have sv_pure on and the mod still works for me???
Cant think of any logical explanation for this. If anyone can recreate this phenomenon with any consistency add me, id love to take a look at the server / your settings.
On the Valve front no response yet. But as ever i'll keep you in the loop.
Alright so I've been retesting it, on MOST sv_pure 2 servers most hats are visible a few are not. Such as my Pyro I can see my Bill's Hat and my Bandana, but my Mair Mask was invisible to me.
I run your most updated No Hats Mod and the original unusual particle effect remover.

MedixinLenovo ThinkPad X240: It's a ThinkPad, generally durable and reliable. Great battery life from what my friend says.
Can confim this is pretty damn nice. I got one from work, was able to play TF2 with a dual monitor setup at 120+ fps with my cfg and 160+ with just a single monitor. Battery life is pretty top notch too. Can't comment on the laptop screen though cause I've only have had it hooked up to a docking station with 1-3 monitors on it.
I have the i7 version at work to give you an idea

This makes no sense.
Dude, the point is that the CS MODS established THEIR OWN competitive scenes. You are missing a major cause and effect if you think that the size of counter strike's competitive nature is because valve added a crappy matchmaking system to CS GO.
Dota as a mod already had a huge scene before valve picked it up.
It isn't in valve's interest to go around finding small time comp scenes and trying to establish them with money, we are talking about two games that were created and played in competitive environments with a purpose from the beginning. CS Source was a big time competitive game long before Valve came along with CSGO (And of course the mod before that).
There's more people if you count both 6s and HL in comp TF2 than their is for basically every other FPS that isn't CS. Take 1 look at the competitive PC Communities for any of the Quake, CoDs, BFs, even Tribes, they're no where close in size to TF2.
