CHERRYTurinwell considering the only country with a christian state religion is the vatican and that they don't do any of that means that you're being edgyArgentina, Norway, Greece, England from the top of my head

You only further reinforce his point though, none of those countries do that anymore.

Yeah I know anymore could be used as a keyword here, but honestly same shit happened with the USSR and 1950s China with religious figures being exterminated or put into prison camps (and were made basically slaves), they also punished gay people, but they usually did a lot for equally treating women. My point in the last bit here religion isn't to be blamed assholes are in every major group/idea/belief.

#19 How's your internet for gaming? in Off Topic
dollarlayerMy internet speed is fine. Just its not reliable. I've had 2x 2 hour outages in the last week alone. Net was out from 12 midnight to 2AM last night.

50Mbps down and 5Mbps up.

Average 95 ping to Chicago, 85 ping to Dallas, 110 Ping to NY, and 45 ping to Los Angeles. My routing sucks. :(

"12 midnight to 2AM last night."

Those are standard maitenance hours. The vast majority of outages that start after Midnight and end before 5AM are maintenance.

KOBAhelp, what should I do here ? http://i.imgur.com/LqeRTyk.jpg

On the right left hand sign of your screen you would go to "ADSL Line"

HidiAs I said in the other "internet" thread. My unstable ping worries me more than anything else. I've been lucky the past couple weeks, but more often than not, I'm not blessed with 30-60 ping.

Try playing with this:

What kind of internet do you have?

Coaxial Cable (Docsis)

DSL / Phone line (ADSL, VDSL, Dial up, Bonded DSL, G.DMT)

This picture has a filter for the DSL/Landline Phone line but basically it's a narrow ethernet cable

Ethernet Cable (If you have a ethernet cable from wall to router, you probably have Fiber or some other Ethernet provided equipment such as Hatteras)

#48 Comanglia's Config / FPS Guide in Customization
RhapsodyJust because I'm curious, what exactly do you feel I messed up with in my config? And is it fixed now?

You're good now. Everything that I disagree with your config now is largely subjective and not really a big deal.

7/10

Was alright, with a bit of practice you could have bright future in video editing. Should definitely work on making longer videos too, try some around a 3 minute length.

#45 Comanglia's Config / FPS Guide in Customization
Widespread_Panicthis is amazing! The only issue I have is when I am scoped in with the sniper rifle I cant see the left and bottom crosshairs, I use this for lateral tracking and it has made it more difficult. Any idea how to fix this? Ive tried dx81,90, and 95 and its the same in all of them. Here is a screenshot of what Im talking about (taken in dx95):

mat_picmip 2 causes those lines to disappear
have "mat_picmip -1" if you want those 2 lines to stay, (will also make a lot of other texture look better/more defined as well)

cinderDxlevel 80 gives slightly more fps but dxlevel 81 is far more stable if I remember correctly.

the difference in fps is extremely minimal, the biggest difference is more to do with certain particles don't render/render correctly on dxlevel 80

#19 Can this laptop give 144hz? in Hardware
Dave_yttriumDave_HDMI can output 120Hz assuming you have the correct version (and correct timings but you can't easily set those in intel's drivers RIP). Also why would you have a 144Hz monitor and an integrated gpu that makes no sense; I'd be more worried about getting a constant framerate first. Plus HP doesn't even let you choose a different GPU with that laptop so idk how "customizing" it helps anything related to gamingActually, Intel's driver when put into Advanced mode has full control of timings and display over clocking. I was kinda surprised myself.yes but you don't have control over EVERYTHING; i believe you don't get access to the front and back porch settings which makes it impossible to push 120Hz over HDMI conveniently.

Yes it is. HDMI 1.4b can do 1080p 120Hz

They're currently on HDMI 2.0

If you're hoping that you can force some other monitor to do 144Hz prepare to be disappointed. Very very few monitors can be overclocked past 76Hz.

ulmyxxDoes this PC have the capabilities to give off 144hz? Is there a port capable of doing it?

http://store.hp.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/us/en/pdp/Laptops/hp-envy---15t-touch-realsense-laptop-k5h58av-1

I tried to find a list of ports but I could not. Thank you.
ulmyxx^its customized.

Don't do it, you would literally be killing that laptop from day 1 when you start playing any games on it for more than 20-30 minutes. You will notice significant stutters and frame drops occassionally from the CPU underclocking itself cause it gets WAY to hot.

Source: I used a gaming laptop slightly over a year ago with an i7 and 570m in it. It was about as powerful as a laptop as you could get when my friend bought it 4 years ago. The stutters were awful...

PotatovThat is the best demo frag video I've ever seen even despite inconsistent clip recording (you can clearly see frame rate difference in some clips). Great job

I think you're talking about mat_motion_blur_forward_enabled changing settings in different clips.

Which does cause very weird jitter for whenever you press/let go of W

#111 ESEA Client Update - Always On??? in TF2 General Discussion
AvastI have not had any issues with the client update and performance/rubberbanding in any of them either.

When did you fix your internet? I still remember you lag teleporting through granary garage to stay alive on blanc.

#30 PSA: ESEA Client Update no longer causes stutter in TF2 General Discussion

bright side, uninstalling the esea client is rather easy. Having checked after installing for what I need to look for with a program called "hijack this" I knew just incase what I needed to get rid of. After uninstalling through the program manager everything but sub folders for esea uninstalled. I still went through process of removing the subfolder, but their really was no REAL leftovers. I also did a check with adwcleaner just to see if I missed anything else, and checked all my drivers and their really was nothing leftover.

#20 PSA: ESEA Client Update no longer causes stutter in TF2 General Discussion
DrPloxoComangliaDrPloxoFoxi think comanglia has a real argument over being upset that esea's client will be always active if he works with sensitive information

you can't really risk a leak even if it's less than 0.01% of a chance of that happening, especially when working with confidential data
If it were quantifiable that they use it to view anything that is confidential it breaches their massive legal restrictions.

Keep in mind it doesn't necessarily have to be ESEA doing the wrong doing. Installing the client opens a backdoor the could be potentially exploited by a 3rd party.
Dropbox also has a backdoor that can be abused. If the product is abused and is found to be the cause, it is at the liability of the company iirc.

Right and for that same reason I disable dropbox when I don't need to upload something.
