Using firefox 39 myself, on 1920 x 1080. Checked with 2 different monitors (both 1080p) and more pages works fine with me, and the only time I have problems with viewing the more pages buttons is when I zoom in to 190% or zoom out to 90% (but literally none of the links accept the title field can be seen)

I have this one, and hits your budget spot on. http://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-KHX-H3CL/dp/B00JJNQG98
their's a version 2 out as well but costs about $20 more.

You might feel like you're plateauing but you're probably not. I made a quick graph of what skill development is actually like.
More than likely you've hit the area I've marked in red.
The best way to get out of that slump is either A. continue to practice and wait or B. Pick up a new way to practice/more difficult practice Ex 1. MGE/Pug with UGC steel-silver players? Move on to a partner that plays in High open or IM. Ex 2. Don't have a mentor? Get one that's fairly good (most players in IM and Invite)
Ond_kajaYou can't get an athletic visa for e-sports (especially less popular ones) in most places. There is no central governing body on e-sports to endorse the competitors' visa application (which is required for an athletic visa).

What if Valve endorsed it? Probs still a long shot, but it's not impossible.
it's possible with TF2 net settings that you're trying to take up more bandwidth than you actually have. Cause if I recall tf2 default net settings have significantly lower rate, updaterate, and cmdrate. On some Internet connections namely DSL, especially if you have really low tier DSL if you have net settings requiring more bandwidth than you have ping times WILL increase.
As a different point, increasing rate alone should increase the packet sizes (assuming you were bottlenecked to begin with) and with larger packetsizes the higher your ping is.
DanceNumbercan you make TLR a legit org and state 'pay' him his 'salary' with donation money.
Could possibly be counted as a bonus. Or how likely would they accept if say shadowburn did "freelance help desk/web development" and made a total of $2000 assuming he paid taxes on it I think that could work. Not sure though on Visa laws / how much work that would require.
showstopperComangliashowstopperSteveCare you circumcised?
no I'm from the middle east they don't fuck with that shit
Jewish people do circumcision to basically every male.
and their's a sizeable portion of Muslims in and around the Middle East that practice Khitan which is a form of circumcision (usually males, but sometimes females).
are you an expert in dicks or some shit
Actually I was part of a debate team that had to debate whether circumcision was ethical are not for one of our practices.
Actual question.
If you could pick 5 people to play on a team with in IM who'd you pick and why?

THEBILLDOZERwell i got a stock dell mouse, and while its a piece of shit, it hasnt failed on me yet. idk what the implications are but i might try buying a different mouse from microcenter later.
have you tried uninstalling and getting a newer version of the Logitech Gaming Software driver?
Eh, TF2center is probably going to die after match making is released from being both lead by imcompetency, less convenient and not be able to rank up.
Farewell TF2C, not that I used it much, mostly cause their's a rather large part of the community that was pretty wrapped up with the whole fact I had less than 30 centers played, and would get kicked for it.
Just wanted to let people know Valve actually did use this thread for a few of their Gun Mettle update weapon changes.
2 Examples
ComangliaJag
+20% fire speed (note: this would keep upgrade speed about the same maybe add a small buff specifically to here to make the goal plausible, would repair faster, and upgrade faster)
-Damage repaired per hit: 85 ((stock is 105, current for Jag is 105) (note: so the jag doesn't actually repair faster)
-15HPGoal I have in mind for the Jag (since it's a pretty bland weapon already) Make full sentry builds more viable in aggressive scenarios without improving the defensive capability engineer is already really good at. The -15HP is to force the engineer to rely more on his buildings rather than his DM ability.
Valve's Patch Notes for The Jag
Jag
With the change to Base Construction boost, Jag bonus has improved. 30% increase of 1.5x makes a total of 1.95x (total of 2.95x when base speed is added)
Added +15% swing speed.
Added 20% repair penalty. Repairs will give up to 80hp per swing instead 100hp per swing.
TwiggyDalokohs Bar : this thing is never used to my knowledge, if it gave something else than the sandvich maybe it could have some usesthe 50 health bonus now affects overheal too
equivalent to a small healthpack instead of a medium one
Valve Patch Notes
Dalokoh's Bar
Now has 10 second cool down on use
Can now overheal up to 400hp
Can be thrown (alt-fire) as a small medkit for other players to use
sure their's a few more, but this was more about the fact VALVE ACTUALLY LISTENED
Giraffearcadiawith the addition of new weapon skins, is there anyway to edit the config to be able to see your own viewmodel with a higher quality without a significant loss of fps?I was wondering this too
Depends on the definition of "significant" and the only things I know of would affect a whole lot more than just your viewmodels.
Querti'm sorry but this still bugs me. do we keep -dxlevel 81 on the launch properties or not?
Your choice really, some people have alt+tab issues with it in, some don't and from my experience leaving it in gives tf2 more consistent FPS if you rarely restart your PC.
truktrukIs anyone not having this problem? My computer is more than capable of handling the new update but I get "phantom" fps lag whenever I'm near skins. My fps does drop down when skins are near or equipped, but not any lower than 150. Theoretically it should be smooth, but it isn't - it feels like my game is chugging/stuttering whenever I'm either using a skin or near one. Changing to dx8 makes it a little better but it's still pretty awful.
If I recall when a sudden fps drops occurs, you'll experience significant input lag for the next frame. So say you go from 200fps to 150fps instantly that next frame will be delayed by an extra 6.6ms which means that their will be a 11.6ms (1/200 = 5ms) gap between 2 frames (which typically only occurs at 85ish fps). This could be exacerbated by inconsistent fps and suddenly jumping back to 200fps which will cause some screen tearing. (actually rethought this, and going to be honest this is a fairly gross oversimplification, but the added input lag is their for fps drops)
Which with all of that is you're constantly switching from say 200fps and 150fps. You'll have a very awful game play experience with sudden spurts of input lag and then going to a bunch of screen tearing, and then back and forth between those 2 states.
This is one reason why Chris had recommended fps caps, though he did note that fps caps in tf2 actually causes stutter issues for some people, and in my experience with FPS caps in source based games they cause weird/inconsistent input lag and stutter across multiple systems.
