4hpI think if you explain narutokiller2005 that he got the kill in that situation because of random chance giving him a critical, he would think that's kinda bullshit. It's common sense. Even if you're a total noob, you want to get a kill through outplaying someone, not just RNG.
I know a lot of pubbers think they're a terrible mechanic and I never blame the player, just the system. Honestly if the TF2 team REALLY wanted change they should have a poll ingame that says "Do you think random crits are a good mechanic? Y / N" they'd get some surprising results.
i love dying in pubs because narutokiller2005 waddled out of spawn with his 13fps and 50fov and shot a crit rocket at the ground next to me from his spawn
edit: they also need to be removed from the game not only because they're a detriment to gameplay, but they are also used in a way that adheres to lazy weapon balancing

You'd have to have bigger maps. Fighting 7 people on a midpoint isn't as fun as it sounds since it would just be like you getting a kill then immediately dying with each life lasting about 6 seconds.
