PizzaCro0Ked_snipI don't have that. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 with Wubi, all I have is "wubildr", which apparently has a problem; on startup it says "error wubildr" 2 times and then "error: prefix not set.

honestly i'd just get another hard drive and install ubuntu normally, i've had nothing with issues with wubi when i've used it for friends. linux can run on a somewhat small amount of disk space (i think the latest ubuntu release needs 10gb) so it doesn't need to be a huge drive

Do you have any idea why Ubuntu 12.04 (secondary OS, alongside win7 64) won't boot and only shows a black screen? It's not the first launch, the first launch was fine. It shows an error message with "prefix not set", then would load a black screen but if I mash buttons I can get it into GRUB sometimes. All my friends who know quite a bit about Linux don't know what to do. I'd post screenshots but the OS doesn't actually load so that's not an option. I Might take some with my phone if you need more info. Thanks.
if you can get into a shell can you give me the contents of /boot/grub/grub.cfg ?
cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg
might be some weirdness in there
