my cpu cooler doesn't fit!

hey guys. i recently bought myself a coolermaster hyper 212 evo aftermarket to round out my i7 build, and i was shocked to realize that it wouldn't fit atop my motherboard! i have an asrock z77 extreme4 and the fins that are supposed to fit atop the cpu won't fit due to the heatsinks placed around the socket. do you guys know of any smaller cpu coolers that might fit? this is my first oc build so i'm new to aftermarket coolers and it'd be nice if you could give me some pointers, since right now i'm just using the stock intel cpu cooler.
