So the higher the interp value, the higher ping you have? I'll try to get the crosshair to work... looks a bit complicated for my simple mind.
Thanks to both of you who replied, and Fragile, it was fun playing with you tonight!

Yeah, I think it is. If you look through the icon files you see all of the icons with all of the crit versions too.
RhetoricalAnarchistWhat maps do I need to learn the rollouts for? I'm a highlander Demo, but I have no sixes experience
Yeah, I watched b4nny teach our demo the badlands rollout last time. You should check out the map tr_rollout though. It's very useful.
Okay, what if I wanted to use a different scout crosshair, like this one?

And can someone answer the cl_interp question?
Thanks-
Where do you put this?
//SCOUT
alias scout_primary "big; white; default; off"
In autoexec?
Hey!
I have been using a config generated by tf2mate, and it included the broesel crosshair switcher. I really like this on every class except for scout, my main. I much prefer the default crosshair (parentheses with the dot in the middle). Does anyone know how to switch this crosshair back only on my primary without changing anything else?
Also, could someone explain to me what cl_interp and cl_interp_ratio (or whatever it is) do? I have no clue.
Thanks.
Thanks guys... :D I'm just assuming that if I do it a lot I will get better, so that's what I'm doing!
Thanks for being so welcoming. I like nice people. Does anyone have tips/help for me?
Another thing- I'm using omphud with the broesel crosshair switcher from tf2mate. I really miss the default crosshair for my scatter (the parentheses with a dot). Could someone tell me how to change it back without messing up the crosshair switcher settings with other classes?
I pretty new to the competitive TF2 community, and I don't really have that many hours in the game total- I think I played my first 6s match in early December and I have 286 hours in game as of today- but I'm eager to learn and improve rapidly. I most enjoy playing scout. I've played in some of the newbie mixes as well as 40 or so #tf2mix irc PUGs. If you guys have any tips for me, ways for me to practice, improve my aim, movement, gamesense, or just want to say hi, add me or comment! :)
