#1 Mumble Overlay + Maxframes in Q/A Help

So I use maxframes and recently I started using mumble more often but if I launch TF2 with mumble already started after maxframes is executed my overlay is just a white block and I can't see anything.

I can remove maxframes from executing and the problem goes away. Anyone else have this issue/a resolve that I missed while reading the forums?

Thanks.

*** EDIT ***

Nevermind, found it as soon as I posted this.

mat_antialias was in the config and needed to be removed.

Interestingly enough.. I decided to re-install Windows 8 (What I have on before) and I have no problems what so ever...

Le sigh.

Yeah, as I stated I've re-installed all of my MB drivers. Also my power settings (More specifically, my processor power management setting is Active)

#1 Framerate on fresh install dropping? in Q/A Help

So I recently reinstalled Windows (Been a while, lot of random junk built up)

And before I could stream Tf2 just fine with no lag.

On attempting to do so on this clean install I cannot. I get horrible frame lag. Although, my FPS stays at around ~300-400 and I can cap it to ~200 and it remains there but I still get frame rate lag. Almost like VSync is on (Which its not).

It feels more like rubberbanding but I'm not skipping forward or anything, its just.. stuttering.

Any advice?

Re-installed all my MB driver's and my video card drivers to no avail.

Any try this on 4:3 ratio? It's all messed up on mine if I use it.

Maybe I don't know how to change something properly? All I did was download the zip, extract it and move the folder into my Custom folder. I have nothing else there so it shouldn't conflict.

  • Fixed a bug where cloaked Spies would be visible to some players
  • Fixed an exploit where Engineers could build level 3 mini-sentries
  • Updated the localization files

#6 Making macros/scripts in TF2 General Discussion

^ Sounds like the better and more legit source!

But still, learning AutoIt will be handy!

#3 Making macros/scripts in TF2 General Discussion

*** EDIT ***

Just as an FYI, AutoHotKey spawned from AutoIt3, it was built off of what AutoIt had :)

*** EDIT ***

AutoIt3 is what you want!

Website Link

I do all of my programming in it but it started out as a simple macro language. So it is easily capable of what you want and is really simple to learn.

Just a little example, this is all it would take to create this macro.

HotKeySet("`", "Connect")

Func Connect()
	Send("connect:192.168.0.1")
EndFunc

While 1
	Sleep(10)
WEnd

#3 SRCDS/Personal Server Issues? in Q/A Help

Hmm, weird. I thought I ran the updater twice.

Well, re-ran it and all is good now. It didn't download it but verified it and then it worked.

Thanks

#1 SRCDS/Personal Server Issues? in Q/A Help

So I just updated my server's for today's update and when attempting to relaunch them they do not start. The CMD launches and then goes away. No error message is presented, as I recorded the occurrence and paused it to make sure (Since the window disappears in about .5 seconds.)

Anyone else run personal server's from home/having this issue?

#351 flatHUD in Customization

So I tried installing this HUD but the scoreboards/panel that displays your hours/points per class when joining servers are severely off.

I don't have anything else in my custom folder besides the HUD.

Here is the scoreboard

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=296689729

I have since figured out it was due to the resolution of course.. but.

I was wondering if there was anyway to get the scoreboard in the default HUD to work with a 4:3 resolution?

I don't like how the other one looks :)
