#17 Windows Equivalent of the Macbook Pro? in Hardware
tragicDave_vtableJust get the MBP, TF2 runs very well on OS X and the keyboard, touchpad and retina display are unmatched by other notebooks. You can also install Windows via Bootcamp, but it really isn't needed if all you're doing is TF2 (and you don't need anything that only runs on Windows, like the ESEA client).the obscene temperature issues are also unmatched
Put up the fan speeds.

don't forget to fix the thermal insulation:

#12 large hard mousepad in Hardware
wonderlandDave_If you can still find one, the qpad heaton would be good. Problem with hard mats is that like everything else, they wear down.

Or if you're willing to spend big bucks ($80+), you can get one of the custom milled glass pads if your mouse works on it. If you're not familiar with them, think of the icemat, but better. Or you could just go to a glass shop and have them cut and apply adhesive to one for you--that way you get whatever size you want. I do remember there being a korean company that made those REALLY nice glass mats though.

Frosted glass cutting boards work too: http://www.vanceind.com/15x12clearelitetemperedglasscuttingboard-1.aspx
maybe i'll look harder and try to find a qpad heaton since it seems like its still the only one thats really as big as I want.
kind of apprehensive about glass pads, most of the mice I have don't work properly on my icemat, and I doubt the fk1 would because of its super low lod.
Herr_PAnyone used this with a qpad 5k? Been using a Steelseries 9HD for the past couple of years but it's always been a bit too small.

Also, anyone know how to get one shipped to sweden? :D
I really doubt anyone here used it with a qpad 5k but its a normal mousepad it should be fine~
international shipping:

stabbyI highly recommend the Func Surface 10302L.good oldschool mousepad but its only like 14x11 yo
Evil_MrMuffinzFor desk/mousepads ranging from 12x10inches to 56x23
http://www.corepad.com/index.php?pagina=products
there is also a corepad 5xl somewhere on the internet if you think the 4xl is small, i have the 3xl and it works like a charm
the biggest hard pad I could find was keira L at 16.7x11.2.
http://www.corepad.com/index.php?pagina=artikel&id=158
the 4xl etc are soft/cloth pads.

enigma has an fk1 and afaik it works on the icemat/glass pads. I've been considering getting an fk1 solely because it works on my icemat.

#21 Steam Music Update in Other Games
ErenJayTurinThe fact that I can't use my massive collection of .wav's for this is a deal breaker. It shouldn't be hard to let us use lossless files.why do you use wavs anyway? they just take up a heap of space for no reason

because wavs will play on literally anything
aiffs play on a lot of devices, but won't natively play on android (same with m4a)
flacs play on way more devices but won't natively play on apple devices

#14 Mouse freaks out on new Mousepad in Hardware
lynaA little update

So, I left the mousepad in the bathtub overnight for like 11 hours, then i let it bake in the sun for 4 hours, then i covered it in baking soda and dishwasher fluid, rubbed it all in with a sponge, then I took a potato peeler, went all over the mousepad a few times, then i took my shaving razor, went over it a few more times, sprayed it with a garden hose, then let it bake in the sun for two more hours and it is a lot better now.

I'm so happy this thing works now, it's gonna carry me to invite cya @ lan

did you cum on it too

#11 Mouse freaks out on new Mousepad in Hardware

The surface is probably too dense and therefore too reflective. On the zowie fk 2014, there's a similar problem with a lot of hard mousepads, but if you use something like a mionix propus, you get roughly the same performance as that of a QCK+ (if not better). So try another surface.
