SpaceCadetIMO the best TF2 ever played between 2 teams is right here. The very final match on Badlands in the LB went to a Golden Cap to decide who went home and who advanced. Watching live was such an enjoyable and intense time.
Being there live on that Saturday night when Mixup played iM and then Epsilon was incredible. I still think that was the most intense night of TF2 probably ever. The entire room was buzzing.
Laughing_RamgecksThe truth of the matter is that nearly every caster has words or phrases they say too much.Even the reeeally big money guys do it. For example, see: Jon "This Guy" Gruden.
Gruden also happens to be the best Commentator currently in the NFL and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
SentinelOne calling out the current flow of the game and another (an top player) offering a more in depth analysis of what's happening. It really works magically.Yeah, Gecks is a play-by-play guy, Sideshow is a colour guy. Ideally you'd want all your cast duos to be like that, but due to who's available and what-have-you, I imagine it's not too easy for our TF2 casting boys to always align like that.
Yeah some pairs work well like CommanderX and War but most of the time it's who's available.
That kind of audio filler doesn't really bother me though when you point it out like in this video it's obviously very noticeable. When it becomes a problem is when rather than words it's umming and ahhing. An umm/ahh is quite removed from normal speech and it's harder to segue into a useful sentence whereas something like "I don't know" or "that being said" are mostly unnoticeable when paired with the rest of the sentence and more easily flow into an actual sentence.
riotbzbiscuitsI agree with him, I think its much better.has -100 frags ever been met before

For what it's worth I only made this as an experiment; I didn't expect anyone to actually use it for the reasons other people have outlined and according to the installation stats no one is.
randostabbyD) I'm not sure what I did to merit such hatred, I try hard to be a nice guy. I think some of you are nice people that are dehumanizing me because I'm "famous". Be civil, it's a good thing.
Long ago, when I was a young man first starting out in the land of six verses six Team Fortress Two. I would play Lobbies on the popular website Tf2lobby.com. You would play full time spy in half of my lobbies and ruin the fun for everyone, I view this as an unforgivable offense and I hope you go fukc yoursefl youf ckuign dixk.
Why does Tf2lobby.com have a takedown notice from the department of homeland security?

Coincidentally I think there's a dd5f clip in the works with both of those in
bearodactylnot sure if this is possible but it'd be cool if you could make it as if the post was nuked
ie instead of just hiding the content of the post you don't see it at all (no +frags, no #, etc.)
It's definitely possible but I decided to do it this way so you don't lose the thread of conversation entirely
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hide-tftv-posts/aahejfpacpgechinfbgindlnhofkohlb
I made this chrome extension where you can enter a list of tftv usernames to blacklist and it will hide all their posts on the forums for you

The script runs after the page is loaded so there may be a flash of unhidden content. I take no responsibility for any triggering you may experience from reading a post before is is hidden. Hiding quotes is currently not supported.
Code is here so you know I'm not hacking you https://github.com/DavidTheWin/hidetftvposts
https://i1.wp.com/killscreen.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/queue.jpg?fit=880%2C550&ssl=1
You can't walk through other player characters so people have to queue like 2005 era WoW/Runescape
Another reason to force people onto a narrow range of settings is that if something goes wrong it's more likely their new systems rather than anything on the user's PC so their data is more reliable.
