reverieI do want to mention that using this method (pausing and going tick-by-tick) the ang values were not consistent every time I went through (by around +-0.2). The demoui also sometimes skips 2 ticks instead of 1 when using the goto button. This usually happened when I tried to go from 55->56, and it ended up going straight to 57. The data above is what happened when I was able to actually land directly on 56, then progressed to 57 and 58 by 1 tick.

Pretty sure if u just press this button on the demoui you'll go by 1-tick exact

LastandFirstSo, I think when there are more than 2 pugs running, the balancing is worst. Like a mix of fat kids needing picked and less players to choose from in the pool, and you've got a dog shit pug. Maybe some sort of high and low open pugs to try and keep the skill level somewhat fair. If one pug needs additional players people can be brought up or down. Idk how hard that would be though.

No. There's no reason for a pug to be so unfavorable when the auto-picker just has to shuffle some people around.

Having 2 tac pauses per map is fine, however as a viewer it's quite annoying to see teams pause after ever round loss so early in the match. I thought about it yesterday watching grands and I think:

  • Reduce the length of pauses. 5min is way too long
  • Teams should start with 1 pause, and if the match goes into b4nny time they get an extra pause. This way you still get the benefit of 2 pauses when the match gets dragged out without ruining the viewer experience.

Not really sure how it'd work out on KoTH, but since matches tend to be shorter I think limiting to 1 pause should be fine.

I just tried this alias and it works just fine. Your cfg is just fucked. The update is to prevent people from aliasing the command itself and break its functionality e.g.

You can check if it's actually recording with ds_status. It should automatically start recording the moment you spawn on a class. Another thing to note, you can fix invisible players with the command demorestart instead of record;stop so you don't have broken demo files. I know most huds that have that button will just do record;stop.

If ur lazy u can just dump this in ur autoexec and just test if it's working with ds_status when you join a server with mp_tournament 1.
