1) An AC admin would be smart enough to run tf2/csgo in -insecure mode and play around with it without joining a vac secured server
2) What idiot would "test" cheats on their main account?

DarkTechNoMay 9th would be around finals for UCF folks, I was gonna put up some fliers and shit for it at school. I think KoolB might be interested in attending as well and I know she lives near there too. Is there anyway we could push it back later in the month? Like maybe the 18th?

smitherzSeems like it'd be more fun and would appeal to more people if it had 6's and HL instead of one or the other though, just my 2 cents.
Again, it is a time and money issue.
If there were some sponsors involved this would be possible but as it is I'm doing this from out of pocket and through a small portion of entry fees.

My register and pay page should be up by this or next weekend.
I'm considering putting up public googledoc (only to be edited by me and a few other volunteers) of players who are pledging to go but have yet to register. That way people who want to wait and see who else wants to go has a list to check out.
Also, if we get enough players participating we can have people make their own teams rather than draft picks like last Flan.

kounterpartsAlso, I think that it specifically being HL makes no sense, because the other one was supposed to be for both, and had to be 6s only due to a problem, not focused on it, and I think a HL only LAN would exclude some players, it should be both from my perspective.
Money.
Nothing is ever free, venues want to be paid, and I do not believe running a fundraiser for a LAN would be very successful since there already is a fee just to participate.
The amount of players was the primary reason the other event got turned into 6s only but the other reason was time & money. I cannot afford to rent out a venue for 2 days out of pocket.
I'm shooting to have this event go down May 9th
